There are several references of the bible in this mv however the main point is that BTS is healing the sick and weak ( ARMY) and fighting along side them to bring them to a "promise" land of healing and acceptance through their music. Each member protects and brings a different person, animal or concept to the promise land . For example, Jimin brings the sick, V- the blind, RM- animals, J-hope- nature, Suga- faith ( or tradition) , Jin- love, Jungkook- freedom. The 7 doves at the end represent each member. Doves typically represent freedom, peace and love which is what the doves ( or BTS) is leading Army to. This song is a motivational song for army and BTS that basically says anything you throw at me I'm going to get back up and keep fighting. It's a masterful music video and beautiful song and so very cool live. Hope this helps. Fighting!
The director explained that represented how BTS broke the wall of language (also music industry ) in their music with their world success and at the same time find themselves in that’s why they truly reach their dream. In the MAMA performance showed how that reach have also a “fear”.

As well as the Kinetic Manifesto version already recommended, there is an 'ON:Commentary Film' which shows the marching band and gospel choir elements being recorded in LA (note BTS isn't in it) It is amazing to see producers and musicians talking about BTS and how much they acknowledge their contribution to music regardless of location in the world. I know I'm a little late to the party, but if u allow me, I would also love to give you a little more info about this video. Now, I don't know if you noticed the dead dove at the beginning of the video was the same one that flew away at the end over "pride rock." As well as the fact that 6 more doves were flying overhead. So a total of 7. Now I'm not sure if you noticed this, but all the members were wearing different types of clothes from different time periods. The only one in modern-day clothes was J Hope. And yes a lot of religious undertones. And I loved the fact that RM represented Noah and his Ark, (you guys were very correct.) and the irony in that scene. Since RM is an atheist. Now I also don't know if you guys know this...K pop as a whole, they try not to use a "green screen." So 98% was real. Obviously, most of the animals were real but there were a few (lion, etc.) that weren't due to safety. But I would like to point out a few things...1. The wall is real. And yes it is the wall from "The Maze." 2. The mountain or "pride rock" is also real. Now I mention u saying "Pride Rock," because IT IS "Pride Rock." You see the video was filmed just outside L.A. in a place called The Angeles National Forest. A lot of things have been filmed in this location for well since the beginning of film. And Disney animators were sent up there during the filming of "The Lion King," for inspiration. Instead of sending everyone to Africa. This was the cheapest way of doing it. But as you can see, the wall is also real, and it is from "The Maze," as well as "The Divergent" series. That is why a few things looked familiar. Oh one last thing, the young girl in the video. I don't know if u were aware, but her character in the video is Taehyung's (V) sister. I do apologize for such a long post. But I do hope some of this info helps you understand a little more about BTS. And Thank You for taking some time to read of of this, and I hope u believe that you DIDN'T waste your time.
