I had no clue my calculator could do any of this - I have been doing all of this by hand and having to double check my math the whole time. You just saved me a lot of time. THANK YOU!
May the Almighty bless u ........ I was so nervous becoz I have my entrance test tom and I HV never used a calculator for any sub back in my home country........and by God's grace...I came across your videos...........thank u 😊
In the old days with a TI 30 X all you did was press + to add 9.25 % tax to the bill. Now you have to reenter the bill value ? Why when did this become the new way? I see a year later there is still no answer why the calculator is different. Algebra VS ?
Awww thank you so much u helping me save my time and know the excatly number and I am going use my calculator on final exam pray for me guys plz I hate math 😭😭😭😭
i rewrote percentage on a calculator in my note pad on my chromebook in my own study .... if you enter 60 % 5 = 3 that iz how it work .... it take the highest number you enter from the equation and make it a circle .... the lower number be come a slice in the circle .... = convert it to 100 percent with the answer converted thus 3
Your calculator adds 10% to 356. 10% = .1, which is why your screen reads "356.1". The Google source you used assumed you wanted the total after a 10% increase (356 + 35.6); that's where the "391.6" came from.
This is a partial RPN calculator not the normal algebraic style. (so this works different) At 4:20 you can see how to calculate 10% of a number but to make a total sum you need to reenter the original number. basically it is 356 x 10 % = 35.6 then + 356 = 391.6. Yes this is a lot more steps than an Algebraic calculator which can be 356 x 10% = 35.6 then + = 391.6 Or on some 356 + 10% = 35.6 then = 391.6
You need a TI-30Xa model. It will take a number and add the percent and equal the total. This model doesn't do that. You have to multiply the percent, find the percent answer, then add the original number to that percent result to find the combined total. This messed me up also. Not really what I was wanting.
I don't understand why Texas Instruments uses different ways to program the percentage on their Ti-30 models? For example this tax-problem on the TI-30 ECO RS can be solved more elegant: Simply press your ($) 325.75 + 9.25% (gives you 30.13.... - your tax amount) by pressing simply = you'll get your total price! On the TI-30XIIS the % key doesn't do anything else but simply dividing by 100. *too sad*

o ya with that said then you can say on the calculator 60 % 5 = .... 5 % 60 = just like timez 5 x 4 = .... 4 x 5 =
It says error for me
356+10%= ? My ti is coming up with 356.1 . on my other calculator and google its 391.6 what is going on ?

I am giving up on using the % key 356 + 10% is now 356(1+ 0.10) = 391.6 and forget using the % key we all know 10 % =0.10
