Thanks so much for the game mate, was a pleasure finally getting to face you! Deserved result in the end. Best of luck for the rest of the season :) Hopefully meet you again in playoffs
THIS IS THE BEST UI INTRO. The display of the enemies and your allies, it's the style. Hands down props to your editor! Last season I wasn't big on it but this is the PERFECT style. 10/10 bravo!
For the post-game interview, I like the cool logo thingy you have, but I also really enjoy getting to see the opponents team, and the EVs and techs they have that we didn't get to see
I love the post game interviews with everyone. Giving them a chance to essentially talk through how their team can be utilized but also essentially giving them a showcase for their channels is amazing! GOATed as always
Punching Glove Urshifu is interesting, you do get the damage buff on your punches but the moves no longer being considered contact moves means that your ability is essentially negated until you lose your item funnily enough Protective Pads don't work the same way, they simply negate opposing contact effects while still having the moves remain contact moves themselves a lot of people had to find this information out the hard way when Urshifu was introduced into the game in VGC lmao, lots of Urshifus punching into Protect and players scratching their heads
I like the idea of changing the visuals for the post game interview, but I personally prefer just having showdown and the pokemon sets in the background because I can see what the opponent brought and when you talk about their sets I can actually see them.
What a clean win for week one! Loved to see arboliva again after it did so much work in SPL season 2 against play more (where i first saw it). Great game all around; can't wait for the rest of the season!

@@celesteelka hi, just wanted to pop in and say at the point I missed the dragon tail I knew I no longer had a switch in to urshifu. And my game plan of using my 3 non rain abusers to chip his team down was busted and needed to go for plan B. In my head the only option for me at that point was to set up rain to be able to outspeed and go for game. Switching it out afterwards was because a) I thought he may be fearing choice scarf and B) I knew I was only going to have 5 turns so I opted to save my rain mon to set it back up later once I’d positioned to a point where urshifu was weaker. In hindsight perhaps I had other options like going straight to raichu for the sack before going to peli but in the moment I felt I had no options. Aim capitalised on my blunders very well and he deserved the W but my move did have at least some theory behind them 😌
@@OnesieBanette That makes sense! I know I sound glib critiquing from this side of the screen but I was honestly confused on why Pelipper wasn't used more offensively against Urshifu. I would've thought any damage against it would've been of more benefit than keeping the rain up longer for your team, since Urshifu also benefits from it. Thanks for the clarity though! Good luck on the rest of the season!
The layout of the teambuilders have been great since forever, but l especially like how in this one it really centers around the member Joey's talking about and i appreciate how Joey's 6 and the opponnent's squad are on visually distinct layers :]

Proving again why youre a top tier draft player. Your prep is unmatched. Overly apologetic for the dragon tail miss. That would not have changed the result, maybe 1 kill difference. Looking forward to this season.
the graphics get better and better every season. you played amazingly this week though. i kinda saw how this game was gonna go after that first volt switch unfortunately for banette. scream tail was allowed to live far longer than it should have and too much pressure was given up and you ofc capitalized on that
He said he was terrified of this matchup. He then explains that he’s pulling up with a dual screens hyper offense team. Some people would wanna rely on a balance team for a hard matchup. Joey is like, nah, time to sack our way to a win.
for the post game interview, any reason why you didn't show his sets on showdown? The visual is just nice to see during the interview and not sure if I missed the reason why
@@iisnopel3769Punching gloves negate the effect of unseen fist, that's what he was getting at. It would be a gamble though, yeah, since the urshifu could just not be running the item.
