Fantastic yet concise and to the point instructions.
Also Love your video production quality. Great job guys, thankx for sharing your tips. Now i know to purchase motor mounts as well.
✌👍
So jealous we broke 2 bolts and 2 bolts just spun when we did our body lift. Had to cut into the floor to get them fixed. 3 hour project turned into 3 days :)
That sucks! Sorry to hear.... Pretty much every project I do on Jeeps involves some unexpected downtime...but we were pretty fortunate with this body lift. We'll see if the suspension lift goes as well! lol
does cj always work with his mouth open?
awesome video!
Great vid! My son and I are currently restoring an 03 TJ Rubicon. Question about the lift pucks- do you not need to put the metal hardware piece at the top of the puck? Thanks in advance!
I was under the impression that you would have to lengthen the gas tank fill tube as well? Did you just detach the filler tube from the tank? OR lift the gas tank skid?
Edit: actually, I just read their website for this product and it specifically says none of that is needed. I wonder how they got away with lifting away from gas tank but not needing to worry about filler tube....hmmm
Great job and always informative. The JKS instructions list a few modifications that you did not do so I am curious if they were not necessary for the TJ? Modify/drill/cut the transfer case linkage, radiator and fan shroud. My assumption is that since you installed a Brown Dog MML the transfer case linkage relocation bracket was not used, but did you need to remove the bracket in order to lift the body from the frame? Also, did you need to drill new mounting holes for the radiator and also trim the fan shroud?
Michael Ring yes. It was the motor mount lift that rendered those other mods as unnecessary. No fan or shroud mods. The tcase bracket is only "if needed" but some don't. I don't know which I am yet...but feeling don't at the moment.
CPO - Thanks for the reply. Always good to read, and see, what you are doing as I am doing similar mods. You have been a huge help for me during my installs. Completed the DPG Ultimate lift a couple months ago, but now I feel the need for 33" tires so I ordered the JKS BL and Brown Dog MML.
Michael Ring awesome. And your welcome. Thanks for watching!!!
You all probably dont care but does any of you know of a method to log back into an instagram account..?
I stupidly forgot my login password. I would love any assistance you can offer me
@Dustin Demetrius instablaster =)
I wanna downgrade from the 3" BL that came on my Jeep and add this 1.25 lift. Do you this it's as simple as just doing this step by step but replacing the 3inch for the 1.25?
Is your jeep an automatic or std transmission? I lifted my tj with body lift kit and now the shifter does not have clearance for 2nd, 4th and reverse. Trying to figure out how to resolve that issue, any advice?
Did you have a problem with connecting the gas filler tube? after installing the body lift on my '04 It won't reach all the way up
You may need to loosen the filler hose clamps and stretch things out a bit. I ended up doing that after I put the gas tank back in. It was sorta a pain... but you can pull the fender liner and get in there. Spray the hose junctions with wd40 and work them loose...
o3djeeps [ OVERCLOCK3D Jeeps ] I'll give it a try thank you! Btw your videos were very helpful in installing my lift!
what is this band playing?
Got a question what did you do about steering column where it goes thru firewall and the gas filler neck.
And the transfer linkage
@@lawnmowerman4040 I took care of that with the Novak cable conversion.the column I raised it up with a homemade bracket.the gas filler neck I still have to come up something.most likely an old radiator hose.i guess
please chill with the music
especially when your talking
Roger that
You put the old pucks on top of the new ones that seems weird
Great video but the music is kind of annoying for us older folks
Despise antiseize. Compounds in threads. Not advised.
cj need some damn shoes on
It's funny that they did not make one solid big spacer rubber (one to replace the old and big enough for a lift), but actually want you to add it on top of the existing body spacer without removal of the old body mount spacer.
I see there is a lot of rust under the Jeep, are you going to clean it out at a later stage?
TURN THE MUSIC COMPLETELY OFF. THERE IS NO NEED FOR IT. Can't/won't finish watching this because of the music.
Decent video but the music is to loud. Watching a Jeep video not a music video
