Steak on your grill is amazing, but let's face it, when it's raining or snowing, who wants to go outside in that? Not me! What if I told you that you could get that same juicy steak indoors in your Deluxe Air Fryer? In this video, I will show you how to utilize the basket and rotisserie function for the best tri-tip you've ever made!
Note: This video utilizes the Pampered Chef Deluxe Air Fryer. You can still make this if you don't have this machine, it just won't be as amazing (IMHO). Check out the Deluxe Air Fryer www.pamperedch...
    Air Fried Tri-Tip
    *Tri-tip
*Your favorite marinade (for best results, marinate at least 12-24 hours)
    *Rotisserie Basket
Deluxe Air Fryer Directions: Allow your marinated Tri-Tip Steak to come to room temp before cooking. Place your steak in the basket of the Deluxe Air Fryer and install the basket into the machine. Turn the air fryer to Rotisserie and set your timer for 20m. Temp your meat at this point (using the below chart) and reset your timer for additional time depending on your desired doneness. A 4 to 5 pound tri-tip takes about 40-45 minutes. Allow your steak to rest 5-10 minutes before you slice.

I live in Ione CA grew up here and Im very familiar with Swingles in Jackson, CA great place 😊. My sister sales Pampered chef and I have this air fryer. I’ve only cooked the tri-tip on one of those stones and put it on one of the trays in the air fryer. I never thought to put it in the rotisserie thing so great video. I’m gonna try this!

Omg, that looks awesome. Might have to do that next week when it is supposed to be -37 outside

The edges on a tri tip will always be a bit more done because it comes to a thinner point so it’ll cook some what more done then the center. Looks delicious. New to the channel, have you done soft shell crabs?

We can get tri-tip here but it's definitely more of a West Coast that half of the country thing. Most people here don't know how to cook them properly and many people try and cook them like a roast beef pot roast. I will need to marinate but I have a food saver so that's not an issue. Now that I see it can be done in the air fryer I'm definitely going to get some tri-tip! :-) thank you Heather!

Great video. I have a Kalorik Maxx 1700W, 26 qt air fryer. Hopefully it comes out as good as yours did. I can't wait to try. I don't see the temperature gauge for the different cooks of meat. We like ours Medium but I suppose that's an easy google search. Thanks for sharing your technique.

People that is not blood coming from the meat in fact it is illegal in the United States to sell meat that is not been hung to let the blood out. It is either saltpeter or another chemical that is added to your meats to make them look nice and red and fresh! If you see two steaks and one of them is red and the other is brown you want the brown one because it is been cut a little longer and will have more flavor.

I love to look at your kitchen. When you are cooking meat I am distracted with other things because I'm a vegetarian (but my husband isn't so I try). (Actually somewhat of pescaterian (no land animals) You move your appliances around. I look for your instant pot to be in one place and your air fryer in another. I know you're using it today so it would be moved but it is supposed to be in that corner where the mixer is. LOL I enjoy watching you cook even things I will never cook.

LOL, I wondered if people would see that. I am always trying to figure out the best place for it for my recipes. Because sometimes I don't want it on my board. But I want you to see me use it. Ya know? After the holiday season, it will most likely go back, but I am using my mixer for all the pies and cakes and things, so I need more counter space to put things while I'm doing other things ;) Also, did you see the food saver is on the counter right now... I am not sure if it's going to stay. But I just did meals for my parents with it, so there it sat ;)

Looks amazing! I wish I was local as I would definitely give Swingles a try. I haven’t used my basket yet either and it looked like it would be impossible to clean in your video. Please share your tips and thanks for another great video 😍

The basket is surprisingly easy to clean if you have a nylon brush! I usually soak it and then just brush it clean with the brush! Then into the dishwasher it goes to get the rest of the grease off :)

Nice! I've never cooked a steak in a rotisserie, that basket looks like a pain to clean

My husband would agree with you, but honestly, if you soak it immediately after you use it, then use a nylon brush, it's not easy, but its not hard. :)

Silicone pot holders for anyone else who sees this comment thread. Amazon has some Silicone based things like a pot strainer that clips onto the dish you're straining from and more also

How difficult is it to clean the basket? Did you spray it first with Pam spray?

I did not spray the inside at all. But, the basket is surprisingly easy to clean if you have a nylon brush! I usually soak it and then just brush it clean with the brush! Then into the dishwasher it goes to get the rest of the grease off :)
