I own 4 of these. They’re in the garden on pavers with the spinners for 2 years. No problems with tipping and it helps with the water to go through all the levels

I have 7 original Greenstalks . Do yourself a favor and buy the spinner base with the wheels. You won’t regret it. The wheels lock so it will stay in place.
When you are working on your Greenstalks especially in the fall and spring it’s convenient to move the planter around to get it either closer or out of the way depending on the situation.
The base has six wheels are for paved surfaces. Moving a fully watered fully planted Greenstalk is easy despite its heavy weight. GET THE SPINNER BASE WITH THE WHEELS.

funny you say that because instantly after i set these up i wanted to move them to a different spot and couldn't because i didn't get the base with wheels! Regrets....

I had no idea that tomatoes would have enough room for root development in a Green Stalk. That tomato growing right up the side is amazing! I sure hope that you've been able to beat back the deer attacking your market garden, and that the deer left you enough lettuce to sell at market!!!!

I didn’t either but I’m always willing to experiment! I haven’t beaten the deer yet but I’ve been working on it. Got a lot replanted this morning right before a nice rainstorm 👍

@@onceuponatinyfarm I'm really glad you could replant. Market Farming is JUST PLAIN HARD WORK with a lot of set backs. You are so diligent, your harvest has to come!
