I used to cook everything from scratch. Bread, pasta, even chips and pretzels. I got really sick and it turned out that I have a brain tumor that can't be removed. I pretty much stopped cooking all together. After stumbling upon grandpa's channel, I felt better. Renewed. I thought, if this man can cook for 50+ people at his age, I can find a way to cook for my family again. Since rediscovering the kitchen as my creative outlet, I feel so much better and less depressed over my health situation. Thank you, grandpa. You help more than these children. You change every life you touch.

the forsin21 if you can't have a sense of humor when you're this sick, you will die much faster and you'll spend your time miserable and alone. When I die, at least I'll be able to say that I enjoyed my life.
I too love to make all by my hands: bread, sauces, pasta, picles, jam, cakes, biscuits, pizza, etc. its so amazing!
Many of these children are still assuming how they came to that place, they still have pain in their heart but the grandfather with the gesture they make with them in bringing them food, always brings a smile to more than one, God bless all those little angels and to grandpa.
He did all of that with a small knife. Kudos to you, gramps!

Grandpa is amazing! I love his videos. The best part is when he takes the names of the ingredients. Just love it. In this video I liked when he said “Egg 65” when it was almost ready. By the way grandpa can use some sharp knives because it looks like he is putting much efforts in chopping veggies

He truly makes me wish I was from a 3rd world country, napping under a tree in the summer, waiting for grandpa to finish cooking dinner for the day, so I could go in the house wash up and go to sleep under the cool fan/breeze in the hut with just a sheet covering me up. No joke, would be the best day ever. No bills, no stress, no mess. Just the sound of the birds, chickens, and me chewing! Much love Grandpa, keep doing what youre doing. It would definitely seem so, also, poor children very often than not are employed by locals despite legal ban against it, as the parents can't afford their food or education without them working..
And they could very well be from some government funded school and hostel.
