"One shall stand, one shall fall" is basically the dropping of the gauntlet from one cybertronian to another. A challenge. "Till all are one" doesen't mean one side prevailing over the other, but a return to a time when they lived as one people, without the divisions of Autobot and Decepticon. This song is very ppropriate.They hands of the many must join as one, or they will never survive as a people.

When this line dropped as Bruticus united, I got more hype then I ever thought possible.
It's a song about unity, humility, respect for your fellow man, and basically every single thing the Autobots value. And how, despite a lifetime of personal achievements, battles won, strength and power and victory, you can't cross the "river" on power alone. Perfect accompaniment to a game about the horrors of war.

The bayformers films were quirky and funny but the last two not directed by bay were not so much. But bumble bee picked up the slack by a mile and is the start of a reboot franchise for the Transformers live action films.

this has actually inspired me to make my own imaginative Transformers series where in the final battle the Autobots and Decepticons team up against Unicron but in order to destroy him is to use the Matrix but if Prime uses it he'll sacrifice himself in the process as he begun to do so Megatron takes the Matrix from him and uses it to destroy Unicron sacrificing himself not before saying that it was his fault Cybertron perished his fault many innocents died and he'll always accept Optimus as his brother

You know the creepier thing about this song, considering how well it already goes with the franchise? The fact if you listen to this knowing Megatron's turning Autobot in the comics in a few months, it works nearly perfect as a personal theme for him.

This song spoke a lot for the game. I like to think that it actually tells us about the civil war. The part where, 'I've face the quakes, the wind, the fire. I've conquered country, crown and throne. Why can't I cross this river?', lead me to believe about Megatron's achievement from a gladiator to the leader of the Decepticon but even now he still couldn't bring a Golden Age to Cybertron (I've read somewhere that he originally strive to abolish the Cybertron's caste system with Prime but now ultimately ruin the planet. Correct me if I'm wrong.)
While the part in song, 'It'll take a lot more words and guns. A whole lot more riches and muscles. The hands of the many must join as one. And together we'll cross this river', this is pretty self explanatory. The lyric tells about how Optimus and the Autabots win against the Decepticons by working and looking out for each other. It's pretty neat.

That is true. Megatron before the war, was against violence and was against the caste system and the corrupt senate of Cybertron. He used work at the mines on Cybertron, until the senate wanted to take away the miners jobs. When the miners began to speak out against this, one of the senators gaurds shot and killed that miner. A riot began and another guard was holding down Megatron, pointing a gun at him. Megatron had no choice but to kill the guard, and when he did he was in complete shock. Later on when he fled to the Kaon and participated in the gladiator pits. Megatron was still skeptical about killing his opponent, but the crowd pressured Megatron and he killed each opponent he faced, causing him to grow more violent. Later on after he formed the Decepticons, they let themselves get captured by the senate so that way they can attack them from the inside. Once the raid was a success, that is when Megatron ended up wanting more power and started the war.

It's alright! I'd love to have a debate about Transformer and discussion about who's the true villain before the war really broke off and tore apart Cybertron. I sympathize with Megatron before he went insane and believe that his way was right because all he knows in his life are fighting and violence while my sister obviously sided with the Autobot and Prime and holds the opinion that Megatron's approach to a better Cybertron was too radical.

***** actually he's probably stuck on a rock halfway through. I actually tried to cross a fast flowing stream that was up to my knees by myself I got halfway across before I couldn't get any further and had to be rescued by one of the adults chaperoning the camping trip. I was plastered to that rock by the current much easier to get back with help. Never did make it to the other side of that stream by myself.

This and Cities in Dust perfectly captured the tone of this game. The absolute feeling of dread, lost hope, and nothing but destruction, desperation, and chaos as it truly feels like the darkest times have hit Cybertron.

I see this song as a metaphor for Metroplex. For millions of years he stood by and watched as is kin slaughtered themselves for their own selfish purposes. He soon finds that as Cybertron dies, so will he while all the others leave him to stand and wait for the end to come; ironic considering his power to protect is unimaginable. But, he chooses to die to help his friends, knowing full well that if he didn’t, he’d stand forever at the banks of a river he can’t cross, a dead planet he can never leave and a war that despite his immense power, he can never end. God I love this game and this song. I miss High Moon.
This song is so epic, I get affected physically and emotionally. Goosebumps, tears, and a hurting stomach are all here. It takes a lot of skill for a song to do that to someone. It also reminds me of how much I love the Transformers. ;')

It's a shame it's not well remembered like games such as Halo. The campaign was absolutely outstanding on its own merits, but the multiplayer? That was something truly special. I'd love to see the series brought back.

One of the most amazing games I have ever played. You could feel the emotion behind the story. I wish this game would get a remake, because more people need to experience what a transformers story can really be like, not the crap we see in the movies.

I feel like the song is directly talking about megatron and optimus is the one talking to him, he has defeated everyone that stood against him but optimus tells him that no matter how strong he is he will need help to cross the river, optimus has a great relationship with the autobots and he understands the value of his allies while megatron believes he is the best, and he actually is the best, but even he can't do everything by himself

I don't think the song is specifically made for Transformers, because it's meaning applies to pretty much reality as well. It does suit transformers very strongly, considering the war, etc, but it still can apply to reality. That is what makes this song so amazing.
This has to be the most fitting soundtrack for the opening sequence of the game - Probably the best combination in any game made to date. Absolutely love it

"the hands of the many must join as one, and together we'll cross the river" = Optimus Prime, who is trying to convince his old friend that his rage and brute strength alone won't bring Cybertron its new golden age, and only by working together as one will they do so.
The last 1,5 min = the battle of ideologies between both Megatron, finally lost to his own hatred and pride, and Optimus Prime in the midst of the final battle for Cybertron, where Optimus emerges victorious, since he hasn't forgotten his reason to fight: to bring a new golden age for all cybertronians.
Peace is obtainable but only if we can expect the truth and not falter, as human beings we are able of creating such great wonders but in turn we are the brings of our own nightmares. I want to believe that we can change this world for the better but my fear is at what cost.
at any cost as long as there is life hope survives. The difficulty is how far our we willing to go until we lose our humanity. For when we loss that we lose our soul as a species. At that point we have already lost the war.
Peace cannot exist without the idea of war. Just as war cannot exist without the idea of peace. As is with good and evil, light and dark, and the like. To put it simply, we will never keep peace within our grasp forever. However, this doesn't mean we won't be free from the shackles of war as well. Just remember this, my friend:

What I wouldn’t give for a remaster of these games on PC. Transformers has no modern day games. None, and it breaks my hearts, cause before marvel and other movie series take off, it was transformers that was the first franchise I fell in love with. Hope the future for this series improves cause I love transformers with my heart.

I remember seeing the trailer all the time and thinking man this music is great!
I notice the similarities between the Cybertron saga and the Gears of War Trilogy, how both stories are set in such grim tones that sometimes as gamers while it's fun to shoot and explode things, we take notice of the mature precedent and respect it and realize the horrors of war where everything around you is crumbling to ash.
