@@charlesbaldo I dunno man. I'd smash at least one of those. I like a simple hotdog (mustard, kraut, onions) as much as anyone, but those things look alright. I'm assuming it's all being made for some sort of catered gig anyways.
She is very generous with the toppings lol. Each hotdog is like an entire meal.

This food stall/restaurant is just a different breed, many shops in Korea serves normal hotdogs, with only mustard & ketchup and all that. Why you gotta whine like a damn 9 years old kid when they add some cheese or toppings on it, lol

Idk where in America this hotdog is from but it is kinda funny seeing how the rest of the world thinks we eat. Not even vaguely accurate, but I can appreciate the gusto to just keep piling it on, and I love the cheese pulls

Different than American Fare, looks great and gives me ideas for sure. I steal cooking recipes and methods from all places. I Love the idea of cheesesteaks with scallions instead of spanish onions, maybe mix the 2 types of onions( I have not met an onion I did not like : Red, Spanish, White, Vidalia, Green...... they all are welcome in my kitchen).
Always fun to see what other cultures believe is american style food because yup, all of this is definitely americanish but ive never seen hotdogs like these before! Looks delicious!

I love that when things are over the top, they call it 'American Style'. I've never seen anything like this in my 40 years of life, being from America. 🤣 Also love that asian countries use corn to sweeten things like hot dogs, pizza, sandwiches and whatever else. Corn is rarely used as a topping for things here, besides maybe a corn salsa for tacos, you would NEVER see it on pizza or hot dogs.

MY wife and I just had the Spicy Southwest pizza from Streets of New York and they use corn. I was very surprised and it was an amazing pizza! It is a southwest inspired flavor, but I've never had corn on a pizza before.
American style stands for American ingredients or flavors. Corn is from the west.

As an American who loves both pizza and hotdogs I can unequivocally say we do not eat this anywhere to my knowledge.

McCullough who has made a few videos talking about the concept (things being entirely different when given the "style" name), even gave it a name "fauxthenticity." It's a very common occurrence, "american style" being an interesting one as it usually just means its piled high with hot dogs, cheese, and other random shit.

Needed to keep the hot dogs on the grill a little more for my taste but looks very good I enjoy watching these videos
Took hot dogs off grill too soon left bun on too long and too many greasy toppings. Fun to watch but not eat.

If you mean with "much like we do here" that they call it American.. Then proceed to bastardize several different foods that are common here so it tastes like none of them at all .. then yeah, like we do here. Nothing of this is American, I love dogs and have them in every state except 2 (I will let you guess which ones).. no one here makes anything that looks even remotely like this.

This does not mean what you thought it meant. It's talking about how America makes its own food adaptations that usually turns out far from the authentic style.
Also, this restaurant probably never even advertises their hotdogs as American style. It's just the youtuber adding whatever titles they want to.
For example, they add "Street Food" to every single one of their videos when most of them are not street foods.
They had me up until the WAY undercooked bacon. I would like to try one of those beef sandwiches though. They looked tasty.

I like hotdogs, specially the ones you can by at streetcars. For some reason they taste wayyy better than the homemade. I’ve never seen any hotdog that look like that. Way to many toppings for me.

That's because street vendors often have access to foods that are only sold wholesale to vendors and not the public. It does taste differently.

Nope….other than the bun and hot dog. But, I’d eat all version that she made in a heartbeat, after I flick off the eggs! Wait…something is not right about the last part. I see the carton the hot dogs are in can be separated, but where is the hot dog when she separated the sandwich? There are no cuts on the top of the sandwich and the hot dog didn’t fall out when she pulled the sandwich a part.
