I'm a HUGE Su-metal stan, I'm not gonna lie. BUT when I saw them live for the first time last year I got surprised about what Moa can do on stage. She's just incredible.
Moa also has a beautiful singing voice and she could have perfectly been the leader of any other group. But she stayed loyal to Su-metal during the hard times and I think we should thank her for it. The best part is that Momoko is catching her up and that's so good for BABYMETAL (and for us). 😊
I totally agree, Su is the main part but without Moa's full support, right now I don't think Babymetal would exist

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。In 2021, on Day-9 & 10 of 10 BABYMETAL Budokan concerts, I witnessed this new version of GJ! by grown-up Moa and 4 kid-bone dancers on both days. These evil girls are poking fun at adults. 😡 Their fathers are commuting in congested green trains (notorious Yamanote line in Tokyo) which run in a loop like a huge circle mosh. Mothers go shopping to get merchandise with better quality at lower price in shops, which are also congested like a wall of death. They are laughing at us whereas we, adults, do that all for the kids like them. Can you accept such humiliation against us even if they are cute girls like Moa and her sidekicks ? ... Yes we can 🤣 . I got happily made fun of by their lovable performance, twice.😄

According to Yui and Moa, this song is about appreciating all the things that parents do for us, even when it's difficult.
Riding the commuter train is compared to a Wall of Death at a metal concert.
Going to a busy shop is compared to being in a Mosh Pit. : )

Although this was originally a Black BABYMETAL song recorded and performed by Yui and Moa, Moa performed it as a solo song during the 2018 tour.
She also performed it with very little advance notice at 'Legend S' in December 2017, when Yui was unable to perform.
And as you can see, they brought it back again (in April 2021) for two of the Budokan concerts.
It was still a Moa solo, but she had four little backup dancers.
All four were in the Amuse Kids division, and most of them were Sakura Gakuin members.
I would be happy to know the names of the baby bones, if they are known...

The funny thing about the crowd when they did the 10 shows Budokan they were only at 50% capacity because of the pandemic as part of the restrictions to be able to hold the concerts there just imagine how it would sound if it was a full house

Every time Moa has been featured in anything, she has knocked it outta the park. I really do love these performances of hers but you will have SO MUCH more appreciation for these once you've traveled back and seen the root of it all. The chemistry between Moa and Yui in Black Babymetal songs was so impressive, it literally took 4 backup dancers to even attempt to compensate for missing Yui. I've said forever that you need to watch one of the old shows in it's entirety to really appreciate what they do now. With that said, god this woman is precious. 🤘🦊🤘
This song was also originally a duet with Yui, but as you are right, and again, along with the song you reacted to before, 'Onedari Daisakusen', which was performed here at the Budokan for the first time as Moa's solo in a while.
From the perspective of the old fans, the performance seems to evoke a range of emotions, including happiness, a little sadness, but also moved to Moa's sincerity towards the fans. (I am a new fan, but did I)
The 3-3-7 beats, used frequently in the song, it is very common in Japan for cheering for sports. Moa, who was the evil 'Onedari girl' in 'Onedari Daisakusen', also in this GJ and still even as being a high teen, she sings to her mum and dad, 'work hard for me' at first. But at the end she does, 'But don't take it too hard'. The mums and dads of the world will be moved to tears for her growing, lol. Thank you from Japan!

Gj! is such an addictive song, I can't tell you how much I love listening to it. Also, I do understand how you base your favourites. Night Night Burn!, Time Wave, Headbanger and Megitsune are all my favourites but all in different ways!

You could watch the original version of Tamashii No Rufuran first (kind of a 70's disco style) and then get blown away with Su's version. You could do both on your channel to compare. Original first then Su's version. You'll definitely enjoy it and so will all the subs.

It is not often that Moa is the tallest on stage.
What is amazing is how insane a reaction Babymetal is still getting from stuff they did nearly a decade ago. I can relate as I still get goosebumps seeing Tales of Destinies which to my knowledge has only been performed live once.
Or the legendary Rondo Of Nightmare Mischiefs Of Metal Gods. Which featured the Kami band front & center. Along with the late, great Mikio Fujioka R.I.P. 🪦🎸Two songs i miss them performing more than life itself lol.
Haven't heard a reaction to this one in awhile. Which always puts a huge smile on my face. Anyway I am getting ready myself for April and the "Sick New World" Festival in Las Vegas. There is a high probability that Babymetal and Bring Me The Horizon.
