This is one of my favourite acids. I love salicylic aficionado and yes, I love mandelic acid - and marzipan!! 😋😝 But this product is a pure joy to use one or two (maybe even three times) a week. I’d recommend to use it at night. I’ve fight milia with it. I’ve been a bit spoiled and only have had like one or two milias at a time, but in order to get rid of the milias, you have to be a bit stubborn (because milias are stubborn!!) so keep on using the mandelic acid (or lactic acid) at a mild or middle percentage and for a long period of time. And use snail mucin, and maybe peptides, at other times. I love this product. I also love the Geek&Gorgeous A Game and Sunday Riley A+ (Granactive Retinoid at +6%). That is awesome for fighting milia and for everything that has to do with skincare 🙂 I love this channel! 🌸
Hey again! :) I love this exfoliant a lot too. My skin prefers Mandelic Acid and (a gentle Salicylic Acid formulation) a lot! Glycolic Acid and Lactic Acid are too strong for my skin to handle. I have never experienced milia so far🤞🏼 but yes, from what I have read, exfoliating acids and/or Retinol should help to reduce it. Of course, this won't happen overnight but it can be done! Otherwise, it is best to get them professionally removed. Have you already tried your new products? Do you like them? Thank you!🥰
How would you combine Aveeno's PHA face cleanser (from their calm&restore line) with Cheer Up by G&G? Use the exfoliating cleanser every day and when using Cheer Up, not use the exfoliating cleanser and use another cleanser? Other? Thank you! 😊
You may be able to use them in the same routine; if not, use a non-exfoliating acid cleanser instead when using G&G Exfoliant. However, you may need to adjust the frequency of G&G Exfoliant. This is individual, as it depends on your skin tolerance.
Hello! Can I use this along with the calm down toner from geek & gorgeous? How can I alternate between the two. I have combination skin for reference especially in my T-zone and struggle with black heads and whiteheads in that region. Should I use the calm down instead and skip out on this one. I also struggle with Malassezia and/or fungal acne.
Technically, the "calm down" toner would be more suitable for your needs. However, if you already have both, you could also alternate days and see how that goes. But overall, if you are certain that you have fungal acne, I highly recommend visiting a doctor to get oral antifungal medicine. This will show the best results and greatly increase your chances of completely eliminating it.
Yes, it's in the proper pH range. I think it does a good job; I will show it over the coming days. I like all of their products, but I mainly use Vitamin C, Cheer up, and their Hyaluronic Acid serums.
Hello dear I need ur recommendation I am 17 years old I have closed comedones Textured skin Uneven skin tone Can I use the ordinary alpha arbutin in day and the inkey list tranexamic acid at night ?
Hello Ayesha, You can use Alpha Arbutin during the day and The Inkey List Tranexamic Acid serum at night. However, it won't help you with your closed comedones. I suggest using a Benzoyl Peroxide cleanser (4-5%) or a Salicylic Acid cleanser of 2%. But that may also depend on your skin type. So what skin type do you have? Also, I advise using sunscreen when exposed to the sun during the day.
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet I am dry to combination skin Does cosrx bha blackhead liquid help me in getting rid of closed comedones and texture? Okay, so the solution is pretty simple. Just leave out the CeraVe Moisturizing Cream. It is likely too rich for your skin, and therefore you get these pimples/breakouts. 🙃

@@ayeshaaftab4780 Are you sure that you have dry skin/combination skin? What does your skin feel like when just washing your face with water and using nothing else for a day? Does your skin feel dry for the entire day or is it just after cleansing? A hydrating toner/essence (Geek & Gorgeous Liquid Hydration, Paula's Choice Enriched Calming, I'm From Rice Toner or Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner) or serum (Vichy Mineral 89 Hyaluronic Acid Booster) can already be enough for your combo skin. If on some days your skin feels a bit drier, have a look at La Roche Posay Toleriane Ultra Fluid, NIOD Hydration Vaccine... If the moisturizer is causing the problem, just stop using it and then you do not need to use a BHA as they will go away on their own.

Both are great😅
