I grew up a JW and believed in agency, but after being mentally freed from the masonic indoctrination of the JWs, learning about how the Son and the Father are one makes so much more sense and is proven through out the Bible. I really appreciate this channel to help other JWs escape the strong brain washing. I can totally relate to the JWs being so defensive. Hey totally agree, but just a small note..... only those who believe in Christ as their personal Savior and trust in him completely can have the title of “Child of God.” The Bible says before we turn to Jesus, we are sons of the devil by default because of the way our hearts are corrupt and our nature loves sin, and it is only by our salvation and redemption that we are ADOPTED into God’s family. Genesis 2:1 in the JW bible (online version) re-in forces Sam's teaching. The foot note for verse 1 "and all their armies" must refer to "all of heavens armies" (This is an important part of explaining to JWs that the heavenly beings are created and didn't preexist, they are not eternal). Only God the Farther, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are eternal. Genesis 2:1 brings into focus Genesis 1:1"Thus the heavens and the earth and everything in them were completed (and all their armies)" NWT
@@thehigherevolutionary It seems to be unraveling right now. They have reduced their printed literature to short pamphlets, those 32 page magazines, 4 times every month are long gone. The hardcover books are relics of the past. Even the Watchtower study articles are reduced to 15 short paragraphs written at a grade school level, with very few, often truncated, Scripture verses. Most of these articles, as well as convention talks, seem to be responses to criticisms of the Society's teachings currently being raised by ex-JW's, and various Christian ministries, showing they are in defense mode. The major doctrinal revisions of the past few years have created such a convoluted belief system that it has become impossible for them to write about it in depth without it becoming obviously self-contradictory and lacking in Scriptural support. Now they have resorted to the extensive use of videos with emotional and visual appeal, cleverly incorporating melodrama and highly professional production quality.
You forgot that Jesus called Judas “friend “ after he betrayed him. I really needed to hear that about Jesus love for Judas. I have been in sexual immorality and impurity for more than twenty years. My heart is hardened and because of that I FEEL that the Holy Spirit has left me.

It's really cringy to see JWs trying to defend their doctrines. The JW of the debate was applying to different standards to the words "all things"; from the first "all things" the Father is not part, therefore, not created. But about the second "all things" that appears on the same verse and context, the JW applies a different meaning, as it were "a other" "all things". Totally messed up. JW of the video, this is for you, listem to me: you started--just started to think--, and this put you on a road that will eventually drive you away from the organization. It'll not take much longer until you realize the fraud the so called "governing body" is, and once you realize that, your faith in the org will be destroyed. This will happen because the "governing body" is the "cornerstone" of your faith--it should be JESUS. Really want to study the bible in more depth. I wonder if anyone can advise me on the best way to start. Should I go historically or is there a good book that might help me? Never going to be as good as Sam though. He's amazing at this.

Where does it say Genesis 1:1 is speaking about the spiritual heavens when the entire context is physical creation? Perhaps you were there? Or maybe you should take the counsel Job was given at Job 38:3, 4 "Gird up your loins, please, like an able-bodied man, And let me question you, and you inform me. Where did you happen to be when I founded the earth? Tell [me], if you do know understanding." Did you not read in verse 7 that at the creation of the morning stars: "all the sons of God began shouting in applause?" No one can be dogmatic about anything before our time. Arrogant man, inform us all please, where did you happen to be during the time of creation. Please let us know! Lol you just proved at Nehemiah 9:6 that there is a distinction between the "heavens" and the "heaven of heavens". The latter being the spiritual. Genesis 1:1 is obviously speaking of the physical as the phrase heaven of heavens is not mentioned in the Genesis account. Thank you for that. Isaiah 40:26 speaks of physical heavens visible by men as hosts or armies. We know its physical because we are invited to lift up our eyes and see them. Clearly its speaking of the physical as mortal men cannot lift up their eyes and see the spiritual. Genesis 2:1 is speaking of the armies or hosts or multitude of creations, during the physical creative period. They are hosts or multitude of physical creations in the same manner Isaiah 40:26 speaks of the hosts or multitude of stars. You MUST BE HONEST to the text here; period!

I grew up a JW and believed in agency, but after being mentally freed from the masonic indoctrination of the JWs, learning about how the Son and the Father are one makes so much more sense and is proven through out the Bible. I really appreciate this channel to help other JWs escape the strong brain washing. I can totally relate to the JWs being so defensive. Hey totally agree, but just a small note..... only those who believe in Christ as their personal Savior and trust in him completely can have the title of “Child of God.” The Bible says before we turn to Jesus, we are sons of the devil by default because of the way our hearts are corrupt and our nature loves sin, and it is only by our salvation and redemption that we are ADOPTED into God’s family. Yeah, It is heavy when seems that their intention for joining the dabate is not sound. The foot note for verse 1 "and all their armies" must refer to "all of heavens armies" (This is an important part of explaining to JWs that the heavenly beings are created and didn't preexist, they are not eternal). It's really cringy to see JWs trying to defend their doctrines. The JW of the debate was applying to different standards to the words "all things"; from the first "all things" the Father is not part, therefore, not created. But about the second "all things" that appears on the same verse and context, the JW applies a different meaning, as it were "a other" "all things". Totally messed up.
JW of the video, this is for you, listem to me: you started--just started to think--, and this put you on a road that will eventually drive you away from the organization. It'll not take much longer until you realize the fraud the so called "governing body" is, and once you realize that, your faith in the org will be destroyed. This will happen because the "governing body" is the "cornerstone" of your faith--it should be JESUS.

Lol you just proved at Nehemiah 9:6 that there is a distinction between the "heavens" and the "heaven of heavens". The latter being the spiritual. Genesis 1:1 is obviously speaking of the physical as the phrase heaven of heavens is not mentioned in the Genesis account. Thank you for that. God bless 😊
Just because Genesis 2:1 speaks of the hosts or army of the heavens does not mean automatically its spiritual angelic armies either.
Isaiah 40:26 speaks of physical heavens visible by men as hosts or armies. We know its physical because we are invited to lift up our eyes and see them. Clearly its speaking of the physical as mortal men cannot lift up their eyes and see the spiritual.
Genesis 2:1 is speaking of the armies or hosts or multitude of creations, during the physical creative period. They are hosts or multitude of physical creations in the same manner Isaiah 40:26 speaks of the hosts or multitude of stars.
