I love how Gordon at first is stubborn and belittling to Thomas and than seeing the signs of Thomas pushing himself to near destruction gave Gordon a change of heart. That shows why Gordon is my favourite character.
Aww... what an episode. It showed almost real human emotion and feeling here, even for a ficticious character. I pitied Thomas even after seeing how he acted in the first episode. I'm glad to see he got back in the good graces of the other engines. Heh, wow so Gordon does have a heart. It just takes lots of ego to chip away first before he does show it.
Love it, love it, love it! Very well written; I love the dynamic between Thomas and Gordon here. And Trevor Palczynski does an awesome job here as narrator and character voices! That post-credits scene though... Who be that, I wonder? I hope we get to find out in future! :D Awesome work, dude! Have a good one! -Tines
A very well done episode. Though Gordon was definitely in the wrong for keeping it going; it's justified that he was annoyed about the accident as Thomas did manage to destroy a coach among other things; of course that was not Thomas' intention since he merely wanted to knock Gordon forward slightly but once the crew fell out that was it. It's great how Gordon finally came to the conclusion to forgive Thomas by seeing how much Thomas was suffering by trying to prove himself. Oh and very nice touch with the station announcements! On another topic it was interesting to see Bill and Ben with coaches as it's quite uncommon; in fact last time I recall ever seeing them with coaches was shunting them for Gordon in "Heroes"! :)
Very nicely done! It was well worth the wait! I loved how Thomas and Gordon made up their quarrel in the end. I must say Trevor Palczynski does a spot on job as voice actor and narrator! I wonder what that bonus ending was all about?? anyways, well done!
You did a fine job here, writing, filming, and a cameo of a Churchward double-framed coal locomotive! I like how it shows Gordon actually changing personality-wize.
Well, what do you know? Derek acting as a Banker Buddy for the Express. How nice! Duck taking up Annie and Clarabel as his permanent coaches? James, that's hysterical! ROFL After this, Thomas may want to call Gordon "Dad." To me, they have this sort of father-son relationship. Who's this lovely engine I see at the end? Can I narrate your next story, please?
I can't believe that I haven't discovered this sooner! That was AWESOME!! The story and relationship with Thomas and Gordon was so nicely played out, and the animated faces and camera-work went along perfectly! I'll have to go watch the rest of your videos now! Keep up the great work! You've earned a subscriber! :D
Heh, I guess Gordon finally realized that his actions about being the superior engine and Thomas given little credit for his redemption really made him a complete fool and a goof now that he saw what his comments had gotten him into! I won't trust Gordon again because of his stubbornness and his belittlement towards Thomas after the events of Arrogant Engine and after setting Thomas off the way he did but I'll be willing to give him the benefit of a doubt if his ego does somehow change. I'm glad for Thomas now that he's redeemed himself, he's just at fault along with Gordon even though the big blue douchebag himself had a hand in what he'd gotten himself and Thomas into before. This sequel may be overdue but it's well worth the wait and it's done perfectly, excellent work. 130%, hope to see more of your Thomas stories like this, Arrogant Engine and The Ties That Bind Us in the future.
It was a very fun time writing this script and shortening it! Not to mention the editing and music choices that I made too; overall, a very well done on my part. Oh yeah you did good with the filming too... Well done ;)!
Wonderfully written and fantastically filmed. Thoroughly enjoyed this. The engines felt more human in this, than I've seen in other stories. Well done!
I must say, this was quite enjoyable. The work put into this must have been enormous, so I applaud you for that. The style of this episode felt like something out of a season 1 or 2 episode, but that's just me. Great story, and I loved every bit of it. Great work. :)
Ohhh the ending though... A very nice conclusion to this arc I suppose you could call it, but was very excellent. Loved the speakers at Knapford though, especially the firing of Matt Shearer XD as well as Trevor references. Great work.
Well done with this episode. It was well worth the wait. This episode proves that all engines are created equal. No doubt this episode takes place before "The Ties that Bind Us". And surely we will soon learn more about the LMS Patriot or Royal Scot class. Keep up the good work Darth Assassin!
I enjoyed this story. It's well-paced, with very sharp camera angles. The narration, and voice work go hand-in-hand with the angles and pacing to provide a wonderful, and magnificent story. I trust that this is the beginning of a new day for Gordon. One, where he is less boastful, and more willing to be a helpful engine. And he will also, have a new found level of respect and decency for Thomas. Furthermore, if this is the beginning, then maybe Gordon will have finally started to realize that engines need to work together without gloating about who is superior. My final thoughts are, a wonderful written story, with wonderful voice acting, and excellent cinematography. Ten stars out of five stars, it really is this good.
Darth Assassin You're welcome. And might I add, you add something new and refreshing to the community, and that is a nice twist, with elements you didn't expect to happen.
I love how your authentic with the red telephone booths and sometimes blue police boxes that were actually common back then before being decommissioned.
What I assume happens when duck finds out Thomas and Gordon are back Duck: it's about time! Sir topham hatt: Yes but you will still be running Thomas branch line for a little while longer because he is grounded. Duck: Darn it!
Dat Season 4 Style!!! This is one of the best series I have see among the others recently on youtube!! I think the season 4 style is the best among all the other season and you have manage to put all the sound effects in the right time in the whole video!! Thats not an easy job and I appreciate to what you have done!!SeriouslyI wanted to see more. In my opinion Your style is the most similar to the TV series and the voice especially the James' sound did a great job as It is similar to season 4's style(which is my best in my opinion(especially that "passengers always complain"!It reminds me of saeson 4 straight) Gd Job!!!
Brilliant stuff. I had been looking forward to this follow up :) It's not often that Thomas and Gordon are placed together in a story after the events of the first TV episode and 'Down the Mine', it's a great Season 5-eqsue follow on from what had been built (or battered in this case) back then :) Once more the trainz handling was superb, and given the episode mostly took place in Tidmouth yards seeing a few engines like Oliver and Barry helped build up a nice Thomas-esque atmosphere. Props to the narrator too, I think I've heard him in a clip of 'Rails to Salvation'? One question I have though, what did TFC say at 17:34? "A friend looking for a, whole?"
Most fans seem to ignore that alliance Thomas and Gordon made decades ago just to write their own story’s only to back track the characters and have them in this one character role
Very, very well done - I could see some noticeable framerate drops - but that didn't take away from how well the writing, voicing, and everything was. :D
+TrainSounds I think it was for him to get Gordon and Thomas back on good terms with each other again. Maybe STH probably knew that Gordon was just as guilty as Thomas was for the accident but the A0 Pacific was too hotheaded to admit he was wrong too. I think the old "null & void" motto Gordon came up with in Trouble in the Shed came to his mind and he decided to put it into practice, IN REVERSE (the fact that tender engines DON'T shunt, in the LNER blue oaf's case).
This is why Gordon is my favourite character. He’s a pompous asshole at first glance but when one looks closer, he is really a nice engine and always looks out for others.
Marcus Arline you know something there about Thomas and Gordon they can't get along as friends you want to know why because Gordon is a lazy engine and Thomas is being given credit of working in the yards
While Gordon did need to learn his lesson here, I can't say that shunting with a Gresley A1 (or A0 or whatever) is a good idea. They're built for speed, not torque, and their relatively long wheelbases are a liability.
Did you know when your working in the yard it's one of the very few times you are often allowed to pass a signal at danger? With both verbal and written permission (as long as you stop short of obstruction) trains often are allowed to ignore red signals. In Railworks this is done with the (Tab) key and it will let you know if conditions warrant this.
If I'm going to make another channel I should record trains Thomas and friends. I make sure the engines work hard talk back just like my grandma say's "philosopo"
Gordon angered me in Arrogant Engine and in the first half of this episode. I'm on Thomas' side in this episode. Thomas is my favorite character as he's adorable, loveable and relatable. Respect to Gordon for apologizing to Thomas in the end though. Gordon is a good engine but he does get on my nerves sometimes.
I love how Gordon at first is stubborn and belittling to Thomas and than seeing the signs of Thomas pushing himself to near destruction gave Gordon a change of heart. That shows why Gordon is my favourite character.
I agree being selfish is never the good choice but all that matters that Thomas and Gordon made up
Aww... what an episode.
This was really well written. The film work and voices were also done fantastically!
TheFattHatt Thankyou!
Love it, love it, love it! Very well written; I love the dynamic between Thomas and Gordon here. And Trevor Palczynski does an awesome job here as narrator and character voices!

The writing, the voices, the choice of music, everything is extremely well done! You deserve to take a break.
You did a fine job here, writing, filming, and a cameo of a Churchward double-framed coal locomotive!
I like how it shows Gordon actually changing personality-wize.
Well, what do you know? Derek acting as a Banker Buddy for the Express. How nice!

Can I narrate your next story, please?
You, my dear person, might have given Mattel a little idea...
Man if only Gordon acted more like that in the actual show!
Agreed!
I can't believe that I haven't discovered this sooner! That was AWESOME!! Not much I can say that hasn't been said...except for one thing. That post-credits scene was downright hilarious!! XD
It was a very fun time writing this script and shortening it!
Not to mention the editing and music choices that I made too; overall, a very well done on my part.
Oh yeah you did good with the filming too... Well done ;)!
I wonder what going to happen to Gordon, Next time.
That ending was really amazing
Wonderfully written and fantastically filmed. Thoroughly enjoyed this. The engines felt more human in this, than I've seen in other stories. Well done!
Wertyuuio
The wait was worth it and the end result is spot on well done Darth
I must say, this was quite enjoyable. The work put into this must have been enormous, so I applaud you for that. The style of this episode felt like something out of a season 1 or 2 episode, but that's just me. Great story, and I loved every bit of it. Great work. :)
Was honestly going for a more S3-5 feel, especially with the music. Suppose that works too, though XD
Great Episode! I love the post-credit scene at the end.
Ohhh the ending though... A very nice conclusion to this arc I suppose you could call it, but was very excellent. Loved the speakers at Knapford though, especially the firing of Matt Shearer XD as well as Trevor references.

Connor Flaherty I love that episode of Thomas and friends about Thomas and Percy
Thank you very much!!
Darth Assassin You're welcome. And might I add, you add something new and refreshing to the community, and that is a nice twist, with elements you didn't expect to happen.
I like how this shows the good side of Gordon. He may be boastful, but he does have a sense of right and wrong, that's why he is my favorite engine.
Darth Assassin Oh, and having Trevor is a real nice plus. As he and I are friends on Facebook, I can say he is a great guy.
I love this kind of character development
Nice to know Thomas redeemed himself here. Also I'm glad Gordon saw the error in his ways in the end here.
I love how your authentic with the red telephone booths and sometimes blue police boxes that were actually common back then before being decommissioned.
that was one of the sweetist thomas things i've seen if there was a bit more heart to it i think i would've cried. good work darth assassin good work
Well done Darth.. I really enjoyed it. Glad it came out as good as I thought would.
Also.. that. ending.. Do i even need to say anything about it? :P
Don't know what you're talking about.... ^.^
This video makes sense and it makes me feel happy 😊 and when I see Gordon help Thomas it makes me feel happy 😊.
Thanks you Gordon for being there for thomas it's making me feel happy 😊
What I assume happens when duck finds out Thomas and Gordon are back

5:12 Thank you Edward for being kind to Thomas.
🤗🤗🤗 i love the episode when gordon and thomas are great friends 🚂🛤

A friend looking for a 'home', lol. Glad ya enjoyed it!
@@DarthArzenal okay why did you cut that part out?
I felt like it, why are you replying to someones comment about it, just comment normally.
@@DarthArzenal oh sorry about that
This was VERY well done! Now i'm just hoping to see more from you in the near future! XD
13:05:Respect to Gordon for apologize to Thomas, he may be pompous and irritating at times but he's also kind hearted, forgiving and apologetic.
Totally loved it! Great work! :-)
Jonathan Asiamah hey your first name is the same as my name
No it’s ankin
Wow I had no idea Thomas and Gordon had bad problems luckily they get over it at the end
No kidding
This is awesome! And, Henrietta has a face!! :P
Great episode! :D Loved the ending and the ending song :)
0:55 TARDIS! I don't know why, but a lot of fan made Thomas series always have a TARDIS in there somewhere...
Very good. Can wait for the next one.
JamesFan
JamesFan1991 I’m surprised you like this. :)
I’m am also
Best trainz Thomas and friends episode ever made
Most fans seem to ignore that alliance Thomas and Gordon made decades ago just to write their own story’s only to back track the characters and have them in this one character role
Amazing story! In my opinion, it almost gives me the Brenner era vibes.
9:02 I mostly agree with Edward. Gordon was being a nightmare, not Thomas.
Good story and you know what I just noticed Gordon derailed at 12:46 into the episode.
That's more Trainz' fault, he's not actually meant to be lol
Very, very well done - I could see some noticeable framerate drops - but that didn't take away from how well the writing, voicing, and everything was. :D
It was second change for Thomas and Gordon I m very pleased.
4 years later and this is still great!
now if only james can be like gordon now
Felt really Season 4-esque. The scene with Thomas trying to pull the train must of been inspired from One Good Turn.
In Arrogant Engine, his punishment was to do Heavy goods work, but in this one, his punishment is to do shunting, I was a bit confused at first.
I mean heavy goods work
+TrainSounds I think it was for him to get Gordon and Thomas back on good terms with each other again. Maybe STH probably knew that Gordon was just as guilty as Thomas was for the accident but the A0 Pacific was too hotheaded to admit he was wrong too. +Quang Tran oh ok
13:28 I love Thomas' chuckling expression
This is why Gordon is my favourite character. He’s a pompous asshole at first glance but when one looks closer, he is really a nice engine and always looks out for others.
Trevor did amazing narrating this!
This is amazing! Wonderful job!
This is so much better than SLOTLT!
I still Watch this bc I love this episode good job
7:02 I also love that Thomas expression
Good job on this! Reminds me of a Season 3 episode. Can't wait for new episodes to come! P.S. sorry for being a douche on Skype. c:
At least Thomas didn't lose his branch line for good.
Now that's a better story of Thomas than any kind of Thomas Episode.
Best video ever
i love the voice acting.
and narration
Good job as usual, well done! I really enjoyed this!
This Took me like forever to find! But, at last I found it!
My guess that the reason all the engines have lamps was inspired by either the current CGI series or TATMR.
k.
Wait was that true? BTW, awesome story!
I like the narrator
Well made
all this conflict could easily take place after sodor's legend of the lost treasure
Love this story
Marcus Arline me too partner this story is very important lesson of all of us
Jeremiah Combs It certainly is!
Marcus Arline thank you for your comment about Thomas and Gordon fremenies argument of each other
I know! Sometimes I wonder why Gordon doesn't love his friend Thomas same way with Thomas with Gordon.
Marcus Arline you know something there about Thomas and Gordon they can't get along as friends you want to know why because Gordon is a lazy engine and Thomas is being given credit of working in the yards
Nice one man :D
Wow, never thought I'd see the day Gordon spoke up for Thomas.
Percy: wait who are you and what have you done with Gordon?
9:54 bear is sleeping in the station lol poor bear
While Gordon did need to learn his lesson here, I can't say that shunting with a Gresley A1 (or A0 or whatever) is a good idea. They're built for speed, not torque, and their relatively long wheelbases are a liability.
great outro song like the reference
5:37 James: ...Or perhaps not. ^^;
13:31 I also love Thomas' smile
Did you know when your working in the yard it's one of the very few times you are often allowed to pass a signal at danger? In Railworks this is done with the (Tab) key and it will let you know if conditions warrant this.
6:16 I love Thomas' smile
The way percy was sleeping when thomas steamed off
I love it 😊
Link to the alternative version of Gypsy Bard at the end, pls.
I would just like to say it was a two year gap between the two episodes, to the point
Very fine job my good sir :). If I may ask, are you providing the narration? It's very commendable
So Gordon is trying to help Thomas from making a mass.
Narrated by Sir Robert Aura. Nice!
That was amazing
All is very sorry for Thomas
Hey, I was wondering if I could remake this?
I love this episode it was amazing. I just had one question ( And I don't usually ask this often.) What was the name of the song during the credits.
If I'm going to make another channel I should record trains Thomas and friends. I make sure the engines work hard talk back just like my grandma say's "philosopo"
0:54 POLICE BOX! Is that gonna be a running Easter egg?
Love it
Gordon angered me in Arrogant Engine and in the first half of this episode. I'm on Thomas' side in this episode. Thomas is my favorite character as he's adorable, loveable and relatable. Respect to Gordon for apologizing to Thomas in the end though. Gordon is a good engine but he does get on my nerves sometimes.
this is vary good
Gordon is very sweet to Thomas
This sounds like my relationship with some former co-workers, only my Gordon never let up...
Just likening them to him makes me feel ill...
