So, if the first Law states "Everything is mental", how do you conclude that our world is shaped by perception, thought and awareness. If everything is mental that would mean, perception, thought and awareness are mental. It would suggest that mind shapes perception. But nowhere does it simply suggest perception and awareness create the world. We perceive the world and are aware of it, but since all is mental, our awareness is a mental state. Our perception is mental. Nothing more, nothing less.
The very next law of correspondence answers your question. If the world affects our mind/perception, the opposite is also true. To think that the world only affects the mind, is to see the mind as victim, which is never true. Just think simply and rationally for one second, how is the world not affected by mind? Are not all our activities, systems, etc., reflective of our perception of the world; regardless if the world has “affected” us? The truth is that everything is neutral and through your perception/mind, you give it what meaning you desire, whether that desire is out of fear or love. One sees another out of shape and unhealthy and sees it as bad, another sees it as good because at every turn they are able to change and have an affect on themselves just as their initial actions resulted in them being out of shape and unhealthy. Hope this helps Edit: Also, you’re taking the word “mental” too literally, the mental mind is not the only thinking/perceiving mind. For example, your left brain is doing your reasoning right now which is why it is lacking. Your heart/soul/right brain perceives and knows before you ever do, and to greater understanding.

There are so many other great examples of these principles in Jesus" teachings that were not even mentioned here. A great exercise to read the teachings of Jesus with these in mind... you'll find that very levrly EVERY teaching is founded in these principles. I still don't understand why so many "Christians" reject the idea that Jesus' teachings are Spiritual Teachings ... teachings about Man's spiritual nature, not that much different from the teachings of The Buddha and other Spiritual Teachers.

So, if the first Law states "Everything is mental", how do you conclude that our world is shaped by perception, thought and awareness.
If everything is mental that would mean, perception, thought and awareness are mental.
It would suggest that mind shapes perception. But nowhere does it simply suggest perception and awareness create the world.
We perceive the world and are aware of it, but since all is mental, our awareness is a mental state. Our perception is mental.
Nothing more, nothing less.
The very next law of correspondence answers your question.
If the world affects our mind/perception, the opposite is also true.
To think that the world only affects the mind, is to see the mind as victim, which is never true.
Just think simply and rationally for one second, how is the world not affected by mind?
Are not all our activities, systems, etc., reflective of our perception of the world; regardless if the world has “affected” us?
The truth is that everything is neutral and through your perception/mind, you give it what meaning you desire, whether that desire is out of fear or love.
One sees another out of shape and unhealthy and sees it as bad, another sees it as good because at every turn they are able to change and have an affect on themselves just as their initial actions resulted in them being out of shape and unhealthy.
