Most of the time, besides for locking the panther in the car, she keeps responding with logical arguments. Both of the others keep failing to figure out the twists of the games until after the twist is revealed and keep getting dumb founded trying to catch up, meanwhile Sheera already has things figured out and is trying to explain the game to them when they can’t figure it out. I am not saying she will survive to escape, but she is the person to survive the longest due to her ability to understand the simplicity or complexity games.

The ending with all the Air Ships Is for me personally easy one of my top endings for a season that got me hype for the next season i finished this show like a year ago and im still hyped to see these facecard games

In the manga, the Beach was always going to be a game. The game masters have always been aware of its existence. The girls volunteered to be dealers for it. It was supposed to be 5 of hearts. But the moment Hatter died, they upgraded it to a 10 of hearts. And yes, all games were supposed to have solutions. Thanks for reacting to this show. See you on S2. @@alexia3821 It wasn't stated explicitly in the manga. There are theories going around about that though. The ones I've read include: 1. Just stay hidden without anyone finding anyone and they all live. 2. Be the wolf and dismantle the collars. Everyone can be the wolf this way (no I didnt understand how) 3. My own take: If they find a reflective surface maybe the machine would register them all as wolves at the same time. They were in a greenhouse with lots of mirrors. There was even a scene where Arisu was looking at himself trying to dismantle the collar. But he was already the wolf that time.

In the original Manga, they explained their Titles anyways as the first Thing BEFORE speaking! Besides, it wasnt JUST Mira who should have been talking, the King of Clubs, King of Spades AND the King of Diamonds + Mira, the Queen of Hearts were all supposed to speak here... well maybe in the Next Season at the Beginning? Its strange that they cut out the other Kings, and only included Mira in the Broadcast.
Nah she's wild, most of the time she will predict a scenario and 1-2 seconds it'll happen in the show that they're watching and she will continue to keep talking abt her predictions and continuesly to predict the outcome.
it's genuinely so annoying after awhile. Like i get having good predictions but she always needs to reassure everyone that she was right all along and how smart she is.
Basically, the entire number games is a war between Dealers and Players. Dealers are also players that was handpicked by the Face Card Masters to facilitate the game. The two girls are dealers that was stationed in the Beach as a lookout for the Dealer's side. Never did they know that Mira, the black bitch, is also there watching them waiting for the right time to activate the 10 of hearts game. Once she found out that Hatter died, with the state of confusion from the loss of a figurehead, Mira then notifies annonymously the two girls to activate the game. Again, they are the dealers and must obey orders to initiate the games or else death will befall them. Sadly, one of the requirements to start the game was either one of them do suicide. That's why Momoka was so hesitant at first but then take resolve as she doesn't want to live in that rotten world. Since the dealer lost the war and all players collected the number cards, the dealers were then killed in an instant since they served they purpose. I read the manga so what I can just say is just expect some awesome and thrilling all out head on battle with the face card masters! December 2022 is a year from now! Hope they release at least a trailer soon! 😊
I just completed the entire manga.... I REALLY hope we get some of the side chapters in season 2.... Chisiya's 1st day in the borderlands is LEGENDARY... the 6 of Diamonds game he did.
I first became suspicious of Mira when she mentioned Arisu's experience in the hearts game before Hatter went out to play a game. Arisu never spoke of what happened so the only way she could've known what he went through is if she had insider knowledge.

I doubt Arisu would just randomly tell a group of new strangers his experience getting the card and even when he's having a heart to heart with Aguni he only says "I killed my friends." her knowing exactly what happened to him to get that card was extremely suspicious.
I'm Japanese. The actress who plays Mira is very famous, but her screen time was too short in this show! So I could have expected her to be a gamemaster or something😂

With the revelation of “dealers” that are also game participants - I have a theory that the first woman they ran into (Shibuki) was also a game developer!! Makes sense on a second watch. She was the only one who survived her first game, knew way too much, and threw the friends into chaos soon as the game started. And on the first game, I think she knew which door was which and why she said “condolences” to the younger girl who arrived.
That could actually work really well for the adaptation, but sadly no, she was also a player. The source material shows you her first game, a Hearts game, and how she basically won it by choosing to throw away her life, not wanting to play anymore.

(VERY MINOR SPOILERS) Yep, it's about the be next level especially the Jack of Hearts Game and my personal favorite the 'King of Diamonds'. But I hope they use the side stories this time, because in the second half of the manga those side stories were CRAZY!

My biggest problem with this season is that they left out (Spoilers) Doudou and Akane's side stories (though the Akane one could still be incorporated as a flashback in the second season). They put Arisu in like every single game, and I feel instead of the run away game in episode 4 (which was an important side story but not THAT important) they could have put in the one in which Arisu meets Doudou (which was much more important I feel) as it is the one which actually did succeed the Wolf game in the case of Arisu. And I think by killing of Aguni and (even more unfortunately) Niragi they're going to end up removing the King of Spades game from the manga which I also thought was really good. Also I agree...the Jack of Hearts and King of Diamonds games are really good. But my personal favorite has to be the Queen of Hearts at the end with the King of Diamonds and King of Clubs as a close second.

(SPOILERS) I was wondering about Niragi and Aguni also because they are both kinda important to the winning of the face cards to be honest especially Aguni (and Niragi actually proved his smarter side) but what I think they'll do is put Arisu in some of the face cards as they've done in the series so far. Like for example, the Jack of Hearts, I think they'll most likely put him in that game compared to the others. But for Chisiya's character development's sake I hope they don't touch his games he won and give the victory to someone else. And that Queen of Hearts game, it completely had me in circles, I literally believed her for the first few stories. (also the King of Spades game was pretty good but I didn't really understand the King of clubs game though for a little so long) I also find it weird they didn't fake kill off #2 (King of Diamonds Guy) as they did in the manga but I guess to not distract us from Hatter they chose not to do so. I hope they even address Doudou's relationship he built with Aguni and Akane as you stated. There's honestly so much they have to do for season 2.

I think they could have expanded it by maybe one or two more episodes (not to be inconsiderate of budget or anything like that) to allow a lot of the key moments to take place. Like (spoilers) the whole interaction with Usagi and Arisu which motivated him for the face card games. The main thing I'm worried about though regarding the removal of Niragi is the 'Three bastards showdown' between him, Arisu, and Chishiya which was one of my favorite scenes in the manga.

(SPOILERS) Which is basically Arisu's humanity and his struggle to keep living. His drive to find answers. Without his internal dialogue, I feel like we're missing a key part of the character. Like sure, he was smart, but not really in a way where he would go around clearing games so casually. He was more emotionally smart, like how he could understand other people. The adaptation is too much of an anime protagonist for my liking. I hope they find a way to introduce Doudou or at least use the first chapters to adapt some side stories.

People talking about Hatter dying and the beach being in chaos, but the ten of hearts is all about Agni. Agni blamed everyone at the beach for Hatter's madness and death, and he was ready to straight up kill them all in revenge. The first game looks like a guessing game but it's about understanding space. The distance game looks like a marathon but it's about not leaving a man behind (clubs, a team game). And the last game says burn the witch, but it's actually about getting Agni to stop his rampage, convincing him that these peoples' lives are worth sparing. That's what makes it the ten of hearts.
In the manga, it was showed that the dude in episode 4 was a dealer too. Bc, when they finished the game in the manga, arisu noticed that he could walk well.
The deaths for the 7 of hearts game could have been avoided. One theory is that they could use the water to refract the visors so everyone could be the wolf. Another theory is to use the tools they provided for the players. The sign says ''feel free to use any of these'' which many assumes at first glance to be for killing but the sign could probably be hinting that they could be used to disable the exploding gadgets. Arisu tried this and failed..but maybe if Chota, who was hinted to be handy with electronical appliances in various episodes especially episodes 2 and 4, was the one to tamper with the visors..it might just work in their favour and not explode like how it was shown in Arisu's imagination. The tools could simply be a sick joke that could be used to either save lives or end them because as seen in the game 10 of hearts, the game masters like to play with ironies.
The creator confirmed the way to beat it was to never pass the wolf on in the first place. If everyone stayed with their set roles from the beginning then it would let them all live. That’s the only way that was mentioned but like hell anybody would think of that before glancing at someone else

People keep saying hearts game shouldn't be played with friends but I guess they did have a higher chance of winning since they were playing with friends as I would imagine a group of strangers would definitely go straight for each other's throats. SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE MANGA • • • • • • The first chosen wolf was Chota for a reason. Q♡ chose the game SPECIFICALLY for Arisu & his friends. (Now for my theory) Chota cannot run. That's why the game chose him as the first wolf & the game instructions say "Run away from the wolf" so Chota can stay the wolf for a reason. The paper on the table at the beginning said "Feel free to use any of these". That piece of paper IS INCLUDED. I am 99% sure that paper was a clue on the next step to beat the game. And if you pay close enough attention to the surroundings (just like all games in the past episodes have shown us) there are red arrows at the beginning in the arena and throughout pointing in certain directions. The arrows are the same as previous games. Sayori ran PAST the first arrow that was pointing left... IT WAS DIRECTING THEM BACK OUT OF THE ARENA. The author posted a tweet back in 2020 with a clue on how to win the 7♡. It said "Thanks for reading Alice. 7♡ is.... i'll let you wonder." AIB is based off of the Alice in Wonderland book from the 1800's. The movies are semi close adaptions to the book (especially the disney one) Since the game is hearts & was made by the Q♡ the game to beat the Q♡ is croquet. Just like the movies. The disney movie has a special song. "Paint the roses red, or off with our heads." The devices used when the players fail. blow off their heads. The game takes place IN THE GARDENS. It specifically showed us they were in the rainforest part of the gardens. There are no roses there. BUT we see roses soon after all 4 characters ENTER the game, BEFORE they even put the head sets on. IN CONCLUSION : Chota needed to stay right at the front the entire time. The paper had to have "follow the arrows" or something to indicate roses on it as a hint. They only had 15 minuets (10 minuets in the manga) to beat the game. Chota wouldve been too slow to follow them and the arrows, thats why he's the wolf first so he lives no matter what (it was an advantage, not a disadvantage) They needed to follow the arrows to the roses and from there, they would've seen the bulletin board/posters to move onto the next step or something else. It was Q♡ testing Arisu. Clearing the game. Q♡ was going to get her red roses either way. With the help of Arisu or by blood.
Mira is the Queen Of Hearts ~ she was the one who made the 10 of hearts game start. This serie left me surprised every episode and the cliffhangers are done so well! You never expect what it’s to come .Can’t wait for s2!!
The "game master" ordered for the dealers(Asahi/Momoka) to start the game after Hatter died. Right when everything is in chaos, it was the perfect time to start it. Also yes the dealers are like "players" too in a sense. They all died because the players cleared the first stage, the number cards. Anyway looking forward to season 2! The face cards are insaaaaane! And dealers also receive visa days based on the amount of people they kill. (not directly kill but by causing their death by assisting setting up the games.
@NeoXShiro Prd. every dealer is in charge of a game (like the tag game in ep 2), so they are just in charge of watching from the monitor and cleaning later, or they have to play too, but if people do not die they don't get visa days and they die (or if they are killed in a game directly) once the players collected all the cards together the games were not necessary anymore, so for all the dealers was a ''game over'' kinda thing and they were all killed. (or at least, that what happens in the manga, in the tv show they show you an empty room) so yeah, being a delaer mean that you are fucked up once the player gather all the cards

I've read the manga and I can't wait for all of it to be filmed because the ending actually pieces it all together very well. It's the ending I'm most excited for everyone else to see because it all clicks then.
I don't like cliffhanger ending. It really made me furious and curious at the same time. But this is the unexpected cliffhanger that I love. Cliffhanger that can make you excited and anticipate bcoz you knew your questions will be answer in a matter of time. It's just that you just have to be patient. Lol. I am so excited for the AiB2. I hope season 2 will follow the manga more closely! Especially with all the side characters coming in and winning different face card games because that was what I loved most about the manga! Side characters that actually do stuff and help advance the plot!

The guy was in straight up Agony over losing his best friend from irl and just wanted it all to be over at that point. Really sad arc if you think about it

I’m a little worried because they killed off some very important characters tho… I don’t know how they’re gonna pull it off. But it’ll still be exciting af. Iirc, the witch hunt game was originally a 4 of hearts game. It's easy to figure out if everyone is calm and works together. It got bumped to the 10 of Hearts because the Beach is literally falling apart just before the game starts. Everyone is on fuckin edge.

in EVERY scene with executives they showed mira also sheera is right, the first and second time they arrive on Beach she was at the side of Hakka (boss) with the other girl with skirt and also she was the only one in full black with the thing with hands, she always put her hands together... and she is the most beautiful executive besides the white hair guy
I don't think the game masters created the game on the fly after Momoka killed herself. As dealers, they were told that one of them had to sacrifice themselves as the witch for the game and Momoka chose to sacrifice herself so that her friend could live. The turmoil and tensions at the Beach plus the twist of it being Momoka all along made it a 10 of Hearts.
In the manga, (not really spoilers as you've watched the season already) the game was originally a 5 of hearts game but when Hatter died it upgraded to a 10 of hearts game due the the building tension and chaos of the situation the beach members were going through after his death and another character I can't state.
Sheera almost had it figured out, but.... Aguni hated everybody at the beach for driving his best friend crazy. To Aguni, the beach is to blame for his friend's death and for pulling a gun on him. So while Aguni wanted to die at this point, he wanted all of those he deems responsible to die as well cause he doesn't view them as worthy of continuing to live. Aguni's 2 right hands were deranged, so he had to act a certain way in order to keep them in check. He gave them just enough leeway to have their fun, while stopping them from going too far.
*They showed Mira here and there, but her role was always relatively small. During the entire beach chaos, she wasn't around at all, and neither was No.2 (Forgot his name, but the older executive with glasses). I was suspicious of both of them, but even after the end, they never really recapped on No.2.*
I’ve watched enough shows and played enough videogames with these kinds of betrayal games that I kinda had this episode spoiled because knowing it was a hearts game, as soon as the rules were explained I instantly knew who the Witch was. I didn’t guess the finer details though. So I get to experience these episodes the intended way through y’all! I’m having a good time watching your videos!
BTW I suggest that after the series is over (most likely after the next season) you should read the manga. While the show was pretty great there were some key details and characters and moments they left out. In between the face cards reveal and the destruction of the beach there was some very interesting content which is crucial to the themes of the story later on which ended up being basically skipped over. The show probably could've had one or two more episodes to fill in the stuff they missed but yeah. Not trying to detract from your enjoyment of the show at all, just a suggestion and I'd love to know your thoughts and comparisons!

18:17 this is why we need season 2, we still dont know how the people disappeared in the beginiing, how they pick the players and the dealers or monitor guys in the end as well as the horse in the tag game.
It got going full in episode 5, so a slower start. And too many flashbacks as it got to the end, particularly ep7. Neither this or Squid game is perfect, as the penultimate episode was weaker there.
Squid game was more believable for me. No alien like masters, no entire cities being emptied out, no jumping around like spider woman, no humans punching tigers like swatting a fly.

Imo shows that are super unrealistic and other worldly are way more fun to watch for me because you don't have to see everything at face value and anything is possible. SEASON 2 WILL BE SUPER INTERESTING! Manga readers will not be able to spoil much as most of the face cards were like side stories (tho still cannon) so it was done awkwardly and not fully... MEANING they can have so much fucking fun with this shit... I hope they keep the jack of clubs (maybe hearts?), Q of Hearts and K of Spades as they did in the manga with slight touches on the King of SPades to simply, add more. I hope this shit is PHENOMENAL next season

In the manga, the Beach was always going to be a game. The game masters have always been aware of its existence. The girls volunteered to be dealers for it. It was supposed to be 5 of hearts. But the moment Hatter died, they upgraded it to a 10 of hearts.
And yes, all games were supposed to have solutions.

1. Just stay hidden without anyone finding anyone and they all live.
2. Be the wolf and dismantle the collars. Everyone can be the wolf this way (no I didnt understand how)
3. My own take: If they find a reflective surface maybe the machine would register them all as wolves at the same time. They were in a greenhouse with lots of mirrors. There was even a scene where Arisu was looking at himself trying to dismantle the collar. But he was already the wolf that time.

Basically, the entire number games is a war between Dealers and Players. Dealers are also players that was handpicked by the Face Card Masters to facilitate the game. The two girls are dealers that was stationed in the Beach as a lookout for the Dealer's side. Never did they know that Mira, the black bitch, is also there watching them waiting for the right time to activate the 10 of hearts game. Once she found out that Hatter died, with the state of confusion from the loss of a figurehead, Mira then notifies annonymously the two girls to activate the game. Again, they are the dealers and must obey orders to initiate the games or else death will befall them. Sadly, one of the requirements to start the game was either one of them do suicide. That's why Momoka was so hesitant at first but then take resolve as she doesn't want to live in that rotten world. Since the dealer lost the war and all players collected the number cards, the dealers were then killed in an instant since they served they purpose. I read the manga so what I can just say is just expect some awesome and thrilling all out head on battle with the face card masters! December 2022 is a year from now! Hope they release at least a trailer soon! 😊

I first became suspicious of Mira when she mentioned Arisu's experience in the hearts game before Hatter went out to play a game. Arisu never spoke of what happened so the only way she could've known what he went through is if she had insider knowledge.

With the revelation of “dealers” that are also game participants - I have a theory that the first woman they ran into (Shibuki) was also a game developer!! Makes sense on a second watch. She was the only one who survived her first game, knew way too much, and threw the friends into chaos soon as the game started. And on the first game, I think she knew which door was which and why she said “condolences” to the younger girl who arrived.

That could actually work really well for the adaptation, but sadly no, she was also a player. The source material shows you her first game, a Hearts game, and how she basically won it by choosing to throw away her life, not wanting to play anymore.

Doudou and Akane's side stories (though the Akane one could still be incorporated as a flashback in the second season). They put Arisu in like every single game, and I feel instead of the run away game in episode 4 (which was an important side story but not THAT important) they could have put in the one in which Arisu meets Doudou (which was much more important I feel) as it is the one which actually did succeed the Wolf game in the case of Arisu. And I think by killing of Aguni and (even more unfortunately) Niragi they're going to end up removing the King of Spades game from the manga which I also thought was really good.
Also I agree...the Jack of Hearts and King of Diamonds games are really good. But my personal favorite has to be the Queen of Hearts at the end with the King of Diamonds and King of Clubs as a close second.

I was wondering about Niragi and Aguni also because they are both kinda important to the winning of the face cards to be honest especially Aguni (and Niragi actually proved his smarter side) but what I think they'll do is put Arisu in some of the face cards as they've done in the series so far.
Like for example, the Jack of Hearts, I think they'll most likely put him in that game compared to the others.
But for Chisiya's character development's sake I hope they don't touch his games he won and give the victory to someone else.
And that Queen of Hearts game, it completely had me in circles, I literally believed her for the first few stories. (also the King of Spades game was pretty good but I didn't really understand the King of clubs game though for a little so long)
I also find it weird they didn't fake kill off #2 (King of Diamonds Guy) as they did in the manga but I guess to not distract us from Hatter they chose not to do so.
I hope they even address Doudou's relationship he built with Aguni and Akane as you stated.

the whole interaction with Usagi and Arisu which motivated him for the face card games. The main thing I'm worried about though regarding the removal of Niragi is the 'Three bastards showdown' between him, Arisu, and Chishiya which was one of my favorite scenes in the manga.

Which is basically Arisu's humanity and his struggle to keep living. His drive to find answers. Without his internal dialogue, I feel like we're missing a key part of the character. Like sure, he was smart, but not really in a way where he would go around clearing games so casually. He was more emotionally smart, like how he could understand other people. The adaptation is too much of an anime protagonist for my liking.
I hope they find a way to introduce Doudou or at least use the first chapters to adapt some side stories.

Agni blamed everyone at the beach for Hatter's madness and death, and he was ready to straight up kill them all in revenge. The first game looks like a guessing game but it's about understanding space. The distance game looks like a marathon but it's about not leaving a man behind (clubs, a team game). And the last game says burn the witch, but it's actually about getting Agni to stop his rampage, convincing him that these peoples' lives are worth sparing. That's what makes it the ten of hearts.

In the manga, it was showed that the dude in episode 4 was a dealer too. Bc, when they finished the game in the manga, arisu noticed that he could walk well.

The deaths for the 7 of hearts game could have been avoided. One theory is that they could use the water to refract the visors so everyone could be the wolf. Another theory is to use the tools they provided for the players. The sign says ''feel free to use any of these'' which many assumes at first glance to be for killing but the sign could probably be hinting that they could be used to disable the exploding gadgets. Arisu tried this and failed..but maybe if Chota, who was hinted to be handy with electronical appliances in various episodes especially episodes 2 and 4, was the one to tamper with the visors..it might just work in their favour and not explode like how it was shown in Arisu's imagination. The tools could simply be a sick joke that could be used to either save lives or end them because as seen in the game 10 of hearts, the game masters like to play with ironies.
The creator confirmed the way to beat it was to never pass the wolf on in the first place. If everyone stayed with their set roles from the beginning then it would let them all live. That’s the only way that was mentioned but like hell anybody would think of that before glancing at someone else

The first chosen wolf was Chota for a reason. Q♡ chose the game SPECIFICALLY for Arisu & his friends.
(Now for my theory)
Chota cannot run. That's why the game chose him as the first wolf & the game instructions say "Run away from the wolf" so Chota can stay the wolf for a reason. The paper on the table at the beginning said "Feel free to use any of these". That piece of paper IS INCLUDED. I am 99% sure that paper was a clue on the next step to beat the game. And if you pay close enough attention to the surroundings (just like all games in the past episodes have shown us) there are red arrows at the beginning in the arena and throughout pointing in certain directions. The arrows are the same as previous games. Sayori ran PAST the first arrow that was pointing left... IT WAS DIRECTING THEM BACK OUT OF THE ARENA.
The author posted a tweet back in 2020 with a clue on how to win the 7♡. It said "Thanks for reading Alice. 7♡ is.... i'll let you wonder."
AIB is based off of the Alice in Wonderland book from the 1800's. The movies are semi close adaptions to the book (especially the disney one)
Since the game is hearts & was made by the Q♡ the game to beat the Q♡ is croquet. Just like the movies. The disney movie has a special song. "Paint the roses red, or off with our heads." The devices used when the players fail. blow off their heads. The game takes place IN THE GARDENS.
It specifically showed us they were in the rainforest part of the gardens. There are no roses there. BUT we see roses soon after all 4 characters ENTER the game, BEFORE they even put the head sets on.
IN CONCLUSION : Chota needed to stay right at the front the entire time. The paper had to have "follow the arrows" or something to indicate roses on it as a hint. They only had 15 minuets (10 minuets in the manga) to beat the game. Chota wouldve been too slow to follow them and the arrows, thats why he's the wolf first so he lives no matter what (it was an advantage, not a disadvantage) They needed to follow the arrows to the roses and from there, they would've seen the bulletin board/posters to move onto the next step or something else. It was Q♡ testing Arisu. Clearing the game.
Q♡ was going to get her red roses either way. With the help of Arisu or by blood.
That ending is one of the most hype endings I've seen bro can't wait for season 2

The "game master" ordered for the dealers(Asahi/Momoka) to start the game after Hatter died. Right when everything is in chaos, it was the perfect time to start it.
Also yes the dealers are like "players" too in a sense. They all died because the players cleared the first stage, the number cards.

And dealers also receive visa days based on the amount of people they kill. (not directly kill but by causing their death by assisting setting up the games.
@NeoXShiro Prd. every dealer is in charge of a game (like the tag game in ep 2), so they are just in charge of watching from the monitor and cleaning later, or they have to play too, but if people do not die they don't get visa days and they die (or if they are killed in a game directly)
once the players collected all the cards together the games were not necessary anymore, so for all the dealers was a ''game over'' kinda thing and they were all killed. (or at least, that what happens in the manga, in the tv show they show you an empty room)
so yeah, being a delaer mean that you are fucked up once the player gather all the cards

Iirc, the witch hunt game was originally a 4 of hearts game. It's easy to figure out if everyone is calm and works together. It got bumped to the 10 of Hearts because the Beach is literally falling apart just before the game starts. Everyone is on fuckin edge.

I don't think the game masters created the game on the fly after Momoka killed herself. As dealers, they were told that one of them had to sacrifice themselves as the witch for the game and Momoka chose to sacrifice herself so that her friend could live. The turmoil and tensions at the Beach plus the twist of it being Momoka all along made it a 10 of Hearts.
In the manga, (not really spoilers as you've watched the season already) the game was originally a 5 of hearts game but when Hatter died it upgraded to a 10 of hearts game due the the building tension and chaos of the situation the beach members were going through after his death and another character I can't state.

Sheera almost had it figured out, but....
Aguni hated everybody at the beach for driving his best friend crazy. To Aguni, the beach is to blame for his friend's death and for pulling a gun on him. So while Aguni wanted to die at this point, he wanted all of those he deems responsible to die as well cause he doesn't view them as worthy of continuing to live. Aguni's 2 right hands were deranged, so he had to act a certain way in order to keep them in check. He gave them just enough leeway to have their fun, while stopping them from going too far.

I wish they would have dressed Mira in red because she's supposed to be the Red Queen and Ann is the White Queen from Alice in Wonderland.

During the entire beach chaos, she wasn't around at all, and neither was No.2 (Forgot his name, but the older executive with glasses). I was suspicious of both of them, but even after the end, they never really recapped on No.2.*

I’ve watched enough shows and played enough videogames with these kinds of betrayal games that I kinda had this episode spoiled because knowing it was a hearts game, as soon as the rules were explained I instantly knew who the Witch was. I didn’t guess the finer details though.
So I get to experience these episodes the intended way through y’all! I’m having a good time watching your videos!
BTW I suggest that after the series is over (most likely after the next season) you should read the manga. While the show was pretty great there were some key details and characters and moments they left out. In between the face cards reveal and the destruction of the beach there was some very interesting content which is crucial to the themes of the story later on which ended up being basically skipped over. The show probably could've had one or two more episodes to fill in the stuff they missed but yeah. Not trying to detract from your enjoyment of the show at all, just a suggestion and I'd love to know your thoughts and comparisons!

i think this show needs to get as much recognition and attention as Squid Game, in my own opinion, i think this is even a better show than that
It is absolutely a better show.
It got going full in episode 5, so a slower start. And too many flashbacks as it got to the end, particularly ep7. Neither this or Squid game is perfect, as the penultimate episode was weaker there.
Squid game was more believable for me. No alien like masters, no entire cities being emptied out, no jumping around like spider woman, no humans punching tigers like swatting a fly.

Imo shows that are super unrealistic and other worldly are way more fun to watch for me because you don't have to see everything at face value and anything is possible. That's also why I love animated shows

SEASON 2 WILL BE SUPER INTERESTING! Manga readers will not be able to spoil much as most of the face cards were like side stories (tho still cannon) so it was done awkwardly and not fully... MEANING they can have so much fucking fun with this shit... I hope they keep the jack of clubs (maybe hearts?), Q of Hearts and K of Spades as they did in the manga with slight touches on the King of SPades to simply, add more. I hope this shit is PHENOMENAL next season

The first chosen wolf was Chota for a reason. Q♡ chose the game SPECIFICALLY for Arisu & his friends.
(Now for my theory)
Chota cannot run. That's why the game chose him as the first wolf & the game instructions say "Run away from the wolf" so Chota can stay the wolf for a reason. The paper on the table at the beginning said "Feel free to use any of these". That piece of paper IS INCLUDED. I am 99% sure that paper was a clue on the next step to beat the game. And if you pay close enough attention to the surroundings (just like all games in the past episodes have shown us) there are red arrows at the beginning in the arena and throughout pointing in certain directions. The arrows are the same as previous games. Sayori ran PAST the first arrow that was pointing left... IT WAS DIRECTING THEM BACK OUT OF THE ARENA.
The author posted a tweet back in 2020 with a clue on how to win the 7♡. It said "Thanks for reading Alice. 7♡ is.... i'll let you wonder."
AIB is based off of the Alice in Wonderland book from the 1800's. The movies are semi close adaptions to the book (especially the disney one)
Since the game is hearts & was made by the Q♡ the game to beat the Q♡ is croquet. Just like the movies. The disney movie has a special song. "Paint the roses red, or off with our heads." The devices used when the players fail. blow off their heads. The game takes place IN THE GARDENS.
It specifically showed us they were in the rainforest part of the gardens. There are no roses there. BUT we see roses soon after all 4 characters ENTER the game, BEFORE they even put the head sets on.
IN CONCLUSION : Chota needed to stay right at the front the entire time. The paper had to have "follow the arrows" or something to indicate roses on it as a hint. They only had 15 minuets (10 minuets in the manga) to beat the game. Chota wouldve been too slow to follow them and the arrows, thats why he's the wolf first so he lives no matter what (it was an advantage, not a disadvantage) They needed to follow the arrows to the roses and from there, they would've seen the bulletin board/posters to move onto the next step or something else. It was Q♡ testing Arisu. Clearing the game.
Q♡ was going to get her red roses either way. With the help of Arisu or by blood.
