I had this in the Redeemer lamb skin edition. I gave it away. That was really nice . The silver guilding with blue underneath. And the pages while thin looked crisp white.
I too like the older layout better. It has more character and you feel more connected to the history of the TCR bible. All they should’ve done was give it better paper give it better red color or just go black letter text and complete the chain references. Everything else should’ve been the same.
