Shot clock for paintball: 20 minute games but you have 2 minutes to hit the buzzer. If no one hits the buzzer then its a no point and you try again. In a 20 min game, you'll get at least 10 breakouts (unless its a mercy rule blowout).
It prevents teams from just digging in and it changes how teams decide to throw in the towel.

You’re both right and wrong about Jason Trosen. He’s pretty middle of the road and non biased at the NXL that is very true. But when it comes to the ICPL he runs it on a good ole boy system and is completely biased. Quite a few players and teams I talked to quit playing the ICPL because of him. It’s sad to me how he be good at his job when he’s at the NXL yet completely apathetic at the ICPL.
2025 will be interesting for sure
Sounds like over complicating paintball really.... You can only cater to inviting new spectators before you just over complicate things.

I dont like the idea of Signaling to the whole feild you your team is going for a 2 pointer because it would cause the other team to play differently than they normally.
Treat challenges like the NFL if you pull a challenge flag and loose the challenge you loose a time out
Paint limitations. Guys walking out with 14 pods is absurd.

@@tristenwilliams1943Who watched paintball other than those that are already watching? We have an ad free streaming service yet everybody wants to get on ESPN with TV timeouts and ad breaks, why? Lol
People forget Tom founded the original NPPL. He may not be perfect but he’s been the driving force behind tournament paintball at the national level for awhile now.
