The channel Annoying Warcraft3 has a lot of videos using this type of rush and it's so glorious lol.
I have an idea! Play defensive and kill only when they attack you. And take as much resources from the map as possible and basicaly starve them out until they got nothing left. Expecting a long game so lvl 6 dark ranger and alchemist would be so fun. He insta lose 2 units every time he attacks
It's all fun and clever until they stop building units.
Very cool game. I'm not big on playing RTS's but I enjoy seeing them played well. I haven't played this game since Frozen Throne was originally released but I keep coming back to your videos, especially the tower rush ones for some reason. There's just something interesting about pulling the strat off in ways they probably shouldn't work.

What an exquisite strat. Would have been cool to build towers deeper to deny mining, and also to bring all your workers from base for the decisive final takeover.
Strat idea: you cannot kill a single enemy unit until the entire map is crept. Have to run away every time you encounter the enemy until the creeps are all done

oof I seriously thought the Lich would nuke the the tower rush into space, seems like BLM was the perfect choice to counter that.
Did Grubby ever make a "war of attrition" kind of a video, where he'd chip at the opponent bit by bit while loosing insignificant resources or even gain? Like going hero-only Dark Ranger and/or Alchemist for their Lv.6 abilities, using Night Elf for moon well restoration...?

Hey grubby, its been a long time i dont play wc3, if i recall, the store had the speed boots for movement, lately you dont use them, but were an important item, are they still useful or you just use them on special cases?
Meta changed and tech speed and unit count has become more important. Before, we tech very slow as Orc (2:55game time) so you had extra gold for Boots. Now we often tech at 1:50, 2:10, 2:25- this requires early followup investment of t2 buildings and earlier 2nd hero; all in less time; so you have no money for Boots

What do you think of Lich King? I have always felt that he is one of the weaker and least useful heroes in solo matches. He's good for support in team games though.
Arthas (DK) and Ktz (Lich) are two of best heroes in whole game in 1v1
