The first time I heard this gentleman speak was at a conference which was organised by BRAC Uganda and I was a Mastercard scholar then, after then when I reached home I started following him on multiple platforms
Thanks Flavia for hosting Amos...... I really can't get tired to listen to him... Always his conversations are so encouraging and informative...I wish to meet him one day... His life journey is so inspiring
Yooooh ma measure of success currently is tha fact that am able to take care of my mom and my children, yo I feel so blessed to be her shoulder, every time she calls me wanting something, I feel so blessed to be some one's back.
Thank u madam Flavia it is true for us business scholars that people(employees) are the most important assets in any business that I agree with Mr Wekesa.
Very insightful interview. Thank you for sharing Mr. Wekesa as well as the host for guiding the discussion questions. I've learnt so much in this interview. I admire how humble Mr. Wekesa shares his life's experience, the inspiration behind starting the business, and the idea where you gotta help yourself first, inorder to help others. I also loves the concept shared by the host, that when you reach a certain stage in life, you feel it's important to use your knowledge and skills to make a positive impact in where you are; To create a type of environment where you want you children to live in. It's like a sense of giving back with a purpose. Really enjoyed watching this🇵🇬💯🙏🏾
Transfer of wealth usually occur during market crash, so the more stocks drop, the more I buy, in the meanwhile I'm just focused on making better investments and earning more as recession fear increases, apparently there are strategies to 3x gains in this present market cos I read of someone that pulled a profit of $350k within 6months, and it would really help if you could make a video covering these strategies.
Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money or you could hire a financial expert.
Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2020, and I return at least $30k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.
'Carol Vivian Constable, a highly respected figure in her field. I suggest delving deeper into her credentials, as she possesses extensive experience and serves as a valuable resource for individuals seeking guidance in navigating the financial market.
The difference between wealth and rich is that is weath is generational while rich is not. An example of a rich Ugandan was late Zimwe, he died with his companies and riches. There are very many rich Ugandans but few wealthy ones. One of the few truely wealthy people in Uganda is the Madhvani family. There wealth is truly generational, it is now in the 3rd generation. You can never get rid of wealth.
There is a way Mwami Amos first gave u an eye, like as tho saying "wont i need a milk shake after this intro? 😅😅😅😅 Anyway, Amos is one human from whose well of wisdom i would always drink for as long as i can access it. Thank you Flavia for this
Amos thanks for that resourceful sharing always. Flavia you to inspire us to explore and make life meaningful both for ourselves and society beginning with family.
Thanks for this interview. I just wanted more insight on the transition from being an employee to own a business. I feel its kinda a hard decision to take
So eye opening…. Taking care of what u have so u don’t spend. Networking…. The better you get, the less burden on the government Calculate and know your emergency fund figure Marry late🤣😂
This was a wonderful presentation. Thanks a lot. However, I have a simple question: he mentioned that when you work harder you reduce dependency on the government. My question is. Is working hard a way to go? Because these days we work harder but less gains, unable to save or pay full bills!! due to less pay!!
"Building wealth is like climbing a mountain; investing is the steady ascent, retirement is the summit."
Great analogy! Climbing toward retirement takes effort, but the financial freedom at the top is worth it.
Great insight! I'd love to meet a financial adviser who can help me climb the financial ladder effectively.
Great point, With my adviser’s help, I’ve climbed the financial ladder, making informed decisions that support my retirement goals.
My CFA NICOLE ANASTASIA PLUMLEE a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further.
Thank you for this amazing tip. I just looked the name up and wrote her.
