Few words about victron energy battery monitor BMV-700. Essential settings for lifepo4 battery and few other usefull tips.
Factory settings are for lead acid batteries. To use with LIfepo4 battery few of them have to be altered , charged voltage, charged detection time, peukert exponent, charge efficiency factor, discharge floor and obvious battery capacity . I try to explain how to measure diy lifepo4 battery capacity using
battery monitor.

Does it need to be wired or just Bluetooth connected?

AFAIK this display always has to be wired , but is a device called SmartShunt. it's connects via Bluetooth to the VictronConnect app on phone
