No problem, it should work with all cameras that use the new Lumix Sync app. Older cameras will use the Lumix Image app. I'm not 100% sure on that particular model I'm afraid.

Hi, yes it is possible but only with compatible cameras. Unfortunately the camera I have (GH6) doesn't have live streaming so I can't demo it. But you should see the option greyed out in the app in the video. If your camera isn't compatible you can use something like OBS through a computer instead.
@@stevelitton ok , my camera is gh5...can it. , because I usually go out to do live , with my phone..so the idea was when I am out there, I use the app to stream instead of my phone...
@@kenyapeeps The GH5 uses the Image App as opposed to Lumix Sync but it doesn't have live streaming functionality. You need the GH5 MK2 for that unfortunately.
@@stevelitton ok thanks... don't mind me asking....can you advise me on another way what I can do to do live stream from my lumix gh5 , without carrying a lot of stuff like laptop , because I already carry a tri pod...so I am thinking of an easier way

I'm trying to update my firmware via Lumix sync but the app says it "cannot find a piece of firmware that can be updated". I don't have an SD card slot on my pc, or an HDMI cable so really need to do it via the app. Any clues? Have only just downloaded app so maybe needs to update?
That's odd, you should be able to update to version 2.4 through the Lumix Sync app. If you can't get it to work you could connect the camera to your PC using a USB cable to access the SD card.
I'm only seeing Firmware updates for another camera (DC-S5) not my GH6 . . . wtd?
Thats odd, it should be there on the app. It is still there on the firmware download page - av.jpn.support.panasonic.com/support/global/cs/dsc/download/index.html Have you connected your GH6 to the Lumix Sync app before?
@@stevelitton Yes it's on the firmware d/l page. I have connected the GH6 to the app before. Also connected my DC-S5 too. Maybe I've confused it ... I'll use the old (tried & true) SD card method instead. Thanks!
@@oleavideo5943 Yeah I'll be honest my other Lumix cameras are older and use the old app so I have never come across that. It's quite a small update, so will be really quick doing it using the SD card 👍
There is no firmware that can be updated.(
Have you checked that you have the latest version of Lumix Sync?
