It's good to see RAF Leeming still in use. I'm afraid the MOD has closed far too much UK military infrastructure since the end of the cold war to the point that our armed services are close to being unfit for purpose. If the United States ever withdrew it's funding of NATO I doubt that any European Army could step into the breach. The threat to our western way of life increases year by year.

There are six F18s in at Leeming at the moment for night flying training.
