I really like the owner of the house. It's really refreshing to have someone own a haunted house but be clear that he can't prove or disprove what happens there. He seems like a very genuine, interesting guy!
It was indeed refreshing Becca, and the fact that history had to be correct for him. I enjoyed his genuine love of the place.

As already a few people commented, the owner seems to be a really cool guy. His approach is so refreshing. He could easily carry on the rumours, but chose to do the right thing. Gabi, as I was walking around I was warming to him more and more. We have had other places trying to pedal the stories too hard, so this was indeed refreshing. Plus he is saving a wonderful bit of history, so we have to love him for that too. Thank you for watching x

It so is BelfastCrafty, there have been some places you can tell they are running with the rumours and myth of a place. I love that he wanted history correct and was honest that he hadn't experienced some of the things that others had reported there.

He was such a lovely man, with a level head, and loves the history of the place. Seer was very interesting there, and I didn't think about that. Seer just gives a representation not an actual photo, so you could well be on to something.
26:41 A light anomaly floats down towards the bed and seems to set off one of the lights. I'm not a big believer in orbs but this looked interesting.
And I like owner of the house, Mr. Ballard. He's about truth, not sensationalism, like a lot are. Part 2 looks interesting.

Hi girls another amazing place. I've been seeing orbs again, the first one at 25.32 appears on the right side of the screen and appears to steer itself around the bed post, then towards Alison who exactly at that moment felt something touch her arm. The second one made me say out loud... WOW. At 26.44 an orb drops from the ceiling lands on one of the lights on the bed that instantly flashes when it contacts it. There were several others that just nonchalantly whizzed past during the video. Looks like pt2 has more activity coming up, I cant wait. Great vid guys loved it. See yo on the next one.👻👻👍🏻👍🏻❤❤

It’s been a few episodes without Alison saying “That’s why we can’t have nice things.” Just when it seemed you’d moved past that…a tumble off the wagon! Pretty quiet, some lights, but rough on batteries and equipment. The owner is very pleasant and seems honest. Looks like maybe this was just a warmup for part 2 next week 🤞

@17:14 as they are introduced to the Red room, a female voice abruptly says “GET OUT”! It’s quite plain to hear upon playback. I almost missed it because it sounded a bit like Alison’s voice. Have a listen, see if you can confirm this voice & whether it was Alison or Kag that said it?

Cool vid! Mirror room was cool, but, I'm sure would be a bit unsettleing. I don't mind looking in mirrors, unlike others have said. It's the only way to see to put earrings in, and put my hair up. Anyhow, I do know day in older times mirrows were made of silver, and known to be portals in which Demons, and spirits, could pass through, and if you had 2 mirrows fsceing each other. They could become trapped between them. New mirrors are made of glass, so I dunno if they could be portals or not, but, I do know walking through an isle of mirrors in a store can give you an uneasy feeling!
Mirrors have always held a certain something. As a child I hated having a big mirror in a room with me. Could be imagination, but could never look at it lol. We do go into the mirror room in episode 2. I apologise now lol

Sometimes deliberate commenting something because I dont want to come across as some kind of vibe. But,.. variables. But when you were in the bedroom I noticed the sign ad I was counting characters and then the spirit box said "counting". My back also just began to get wack. Something else weird happened today but I'm gonna save it out of respect. The bed itself was an interesting thought. Like two points in space. King of the monsters. Is a good one though. No worries. But then it couldn't because of the spirits that are actually there trying to communicate. Conflicting theories.
I know the feeling. I have two sides of the brain that conflict with each other on what is happening on investigations too. I guess it is what keeps us balanced.

I've heard mixed things about the house and the owner. I'm not sure what to think about it. He's quite a salesman lol.
It's a beautiful house.
I can only say for us, to put more things into the mix lol, he was lovely and down played everything, which I liked. It was never, 'this is what you will experience', but instead, 'others have reported this, but I have never witnessed it myself'. I will put up the full walk around at some point, so people can see this. The other reason I warmed to him, is he wanted to make sure that there was fact behind the history he was telling. I am a strong believer that you should NEVER change history (unlike some other places). He had a lot of documents and information on the table which I wished I'd had more time to sit and read. It was all so fascinating. He did appear genuinely passionate about the house. 😊

We have yes, we sometimes did it at one of our own venues. But what a great thought for other places. Somewhere like Waverly Hills up in the childrens area would have been ideal for that. Something for us to keep in mind for future ones x

The batteries may be a manufacturing issue but also using the view screen will drain batteries faster.
The apps are NOT real & you can test them for yourself. Ask the app just to say “yes” continue to ask that one question. Ignore all the irrelevant words.
You bring up a great point, Tabitha, that batteries go flat for many reasons. Defective batteries, sitting on a shelf too long, and even cold temperatures will flatten a battery very quickly. However, these were tried and tested Panasonic camera batteries, which are used several times a week and haven't gone flat this quickly. I honestly think if anything, maybe they hadn't charged properly on the charger.
As for the apps, I can't talk for most of them as we don't use them. GhostTube, however, is real, in that it is working on fluctuations in the magnetometer of the phone, and this dictates the words that come out. Having talked to Jarrad, the creator, for many hours on it, he has explained how it was programmed and is happy to answer anybody's questions about it. It is real, as in, it is picking up on fluctuations, so I think the true question should be... is it a ghost? Even Jarrad says it will more than likely be natural fluctuations producing the words, so do not let it lead the investigation or get too excited, which we don't. We will follow up with a question to see if it goes anywhere, and if not, we will ignore it. Or laugh if it is a silly answer like in Part 2 of the Whispers Estate episode lol.
In all honesty, all equipment is valid, as long as it is used properly and people don't jump to conclusions on it all being paranormal. At the end of the day, it is all experimental, and we are all just feeling our way in the dark (sometimes literally), we can't even prove that ghosts exist, never mind what works and doesn't. The fun is in the trying to find out though, and in the mystery of it all 😊
Before I even start watching I’ve just had a brilliant suggestion.. let’s say u take 4 coins. A 5, 10, 20 and a 50 (Australian).. and place in a long hallway the 5 cent coin 5 feet away from u, the 10 cent coin 10 feet away from u and so forth.. and then u can put down light triggers such as catballs beside each coin. And u can ask the spirits how far away they are and if they light up the catball they can keep the coin sitting beside it. 🪙
That is an great idea. The tripwire would be a good one for that. Maybe we can do that next time we travel and film xx
