So when can I start collecting sales tax in the state I have a physical presence? Is it after I have submitted and been approved with the state? Do I need to stop selling until then?
I would suggest you schedule a sales tax consultation because it looks like you have several questions that are better answered by our experts. calendly.com/ledgergurus-sales-tax/?RUclips&
Hello. I registered my LLC in New Mexico and when I opened my shoppify account and web page it charges taxes ( at this moment is just a trial) when I enter a New Mexico address, I have been told there is no threshold in the home state, in this case where I registered the LLC, so I need to apply for a Sellers Permit to collect and file sales taxes from sales made in NM, but I havent even sold a single item to that state and I have to file even if I sold $0 which is costly because I have to pay someone to do it for me, any ideas of what I could do?....🥺
Well, it's not that difficult to do it yourself. Here's a link to a video that will show you how. It's not specific to NM, but the principle is the same. ruclips.net/video/S75mraGpleE/видео.html
