I think you did really good. When my dad passed I got 2 really old fly rods that say they are 8 wt. Not sure what that means but I have had a hard time getting them 20 ft out so I think you are doing great. Definitely want to see more. Nice job
I’m so rusty fly fishing. We had a bad drought last year and I fish creeks on the fly for trout. Low warm water let me only go 2 times last year. I hope it’s better this year because the fly is my fav.
Ive fly fished for 3 years now and its sooo fun. Bluegill are the easiest to catch but bass are better for beginners because it helps you learn how to handle a heavy fish on a light setup
I had a cheap fly rod when I was in Pennsylvania. When I moved back to Illinois. I got one of the most mentioned fly rod kits on RUclips. I think it was $80 for the whole kit. I also got a set of flies . Still need to get it out and use it. It’s a Topfort . I also got it because it came with a backup top tip (rod piece). But yeah, need to get using it . Great video by the way 👍🏽
I’ve only caught trout on a fly rod but definitely wanna try it out for bass this is sick though man you should make a video of you fly fishing for steel head
Never got into fly fishing they always nag me in the tackle shop but I do a lot and I mean a lot of ultralight fishing maybe you should try that they sell both casters and spinning can get $$ but man is it fun to catch a big fish on ultra light gear
Epic earned yourself a new sub! As for rating I would say probably a 7-8 at least for a beginner I remember how much I sucked lol. Would def wanna see some fly fishing for trout that would be sick! Or saltwater!
Get someone proper to teach you to cast and they can do long casts. Trout fly fishers don’t care about that but if you are serious about bass fly fishing you should. And you don’t wanna start wrong and get the bad habits stuck too
Who wants more fly fishing👀🤙🏻
You should definitely do more fly fishing is cool

Fly fishing for bass is definitely the best fish to target for a beginner. I would love to see your fly fish for trout though!

Appreciate it🤙🏻
You typically use the reel with bigger fish but the smaller fish you hand line it up
You’re a solid ten on my book
Where I’m at fly fishing is big. Maybe I should invest into it so I don’t look like the beginner bait casting for trout 🤣
😂🤙🏻
litt
The rating I give it a six
I’ll take it😂🤙🏻
I left my fishing! If you wanna come fly fishing I gotta good place we can go fly fishing for stripers and rainbow trout

Good idea🤙🏻
Why would there be a rubber band on there if it wasn't meant to be cut Logan 2022
😂🤙🏻
Be different to all the other RUclips and chase anything and everything on fly
Honestly I’m down just need people with experience to take me out🤙🏻
First

@@LoganAndersonFishing it’s so relatable cause I just went fly fishing for the first time 3 days ago
