- Set up by TV producer Norman Stone some devoted fans of Cliff Richard have a surprise meeting with him circa 1981
These clips have been copied from videotape and other bits of the programme (such as Cliff performing - London Palladium?) have been cut out so a little jerky etc at times
This is my Mum in the middle row at the back.... 'very quiet then' ... speechless at being on television at only 16, with the surprise of Cliff entering the room! Thanks so much for producing this... Mum was amazed she found it on here and to the surprise of myself and my two siblings seeing their Mum interviewed so long ago. Mum searched for hours with the possibility of finding it, much to her pleasure and excitement she did!.....Many thanks.
Josh, your mom and her friends were too cute in this video, love it! :)
Josh Behrens .
Is your mum still a fan ?
What a wonderful memory for your mum.
How wonderful. Cliff has such a kind heart. Good good man.
That must have been a lovely surprise of their life.
Cliff is such a sport, a real hero. Great guy.
What a amazing person ❤️❤️
Thanks for sharing this
Haha that’s my mum 😂
Your mum was lucky meeting him at this time. He'd just had I'm No Hero album and recorded 1 of the best songs Alan Tarney ever wrote, 'Hold On' (Don't Wait For Tomorrow') A song off that album 'Give A Little Bit More' was released only in America, Canada, and New Zealand, but the single (backed by 'Everyman') was a Top 40 hit in All of those countries! Also 'In The Night,' another single not released in Britain, was a Top 30 hit in Japan, backed by 'Everyman' again from the brilliant 'Im No Hero' album. Another great song from the 'I'm No Hero' recording sessions was 'Keep On Looking,' which of course was the 'B' side to 'A Little In Love' single a N0.15 in this country And a Massive hit in Japan, (i think i read it was a N0.1) as well as a Top 20 hit in America and Canada. Despite all this, NOTHING will ever top HeathCliff by Cliff Richard, the DVD is sensational, the cast is still lovely today Every one of them, and the 59 shows I attended at the front and the stage were All superb. I have many cassette recordings as proof, including the 'last night' and encores of 'The Gambling Song' and 'Be With Me Always' that were never Ever released. Carrie on Cliffin' and have a good evening!😀✝
Does anyone have a link to the full programme ? I can’t find it anymore. I hope RUclips have not removed the series. I think it was a three part series
Something is wrong here. Cliff's fans aren't elderly women.
This was 40 years ago so perhaps they are now :-)
@@mikeuknz I'm only having a bit of fun. Lots of elderly women love Cliff Richard. My sister in law's mum is her biggest fan.
I'm 37 and a fan. I don't quite consider myself elderly yet lol
@@aliciabrissou You certainly are not but then you were not yet alive at the time this was taken.
