Sometimes I'm worried about getting defected. And then I see stuff like this driving around and realise I've got nothing to worry about.

I think this is THE Exact Car, not just a car like it. There’s more to the story about the guy who owns it and has had it for all these years.

@mightycarmods ... here in England, I've had a green 2000 Daihatsu Cuore L700 sitting in storage for over a year whilst on the hunt for parts. A short time ago, I bagged a rusty Daihatsu YRV Turbo 130 in six shades of yellow. I've been wanting to build a Mighty Car Mods "Make Your Slow Car Fast" car for ten years, and just as I'm about to start, Mighty Car Mods get another Cuore!!! Good on ya guys!!!!!

I think they're making an electric conversion reference with the car up top.
I didn't think about the reference, but that's my guess especially with the development/planning work they have to sift through. New era indeed, but with the same old nugget as day one.

What I love about McM is that they've gone from their peak- an almost half megawatt Subaru wagon which is a culmination of what they've learnt over the last decade, to this absolute nuggety nugget. Never change, you're awesome

Judging by Marty’s reaction it’s probably the same car that started their channel like same vin all original pieces and parts.
They will probably do a resto big budget build for their 1st car on the channel. That’s just my guess

Not a car I'd personally own or drive, but I have sooo much respect for this car and they way he built it. It gave me so much nostalgia from previous MCM cars, and I'm certain even more so for Moog and Marty. Can't wait to see what's in store for this!

That is quite a tribute to MCM’s unique style history. I don’t think I’d agree to get into it or drive it without considerable compensation or coercion. But clearly heaps of effort was invested. Looking forward to seeing what becomes of this nugget in MCM’s care. Job #1 needs to be de-spider-fication.

I just realized. I’ve been watching this channel for over 10 years. My oldest was born 10 years ago and I would hold him at months old watching your videos on our old dell computer. We just had a little girl who is only a few months old. She is currently watching it with me now as well. Love you guys

I think that Marty and Moog, like many other RUclips car channels, is in the process of liquidating their holdings. It is weird to say because they all seem to have someone different reasons, but I think the overwhelming one is that they sort of are worried that this whole tubing thing has started to run its course. I am a big fan of many of the car channels from all over the world, but wow... so many are burned out and selling down.
Individual moves don't say much, trends do.
@@OldManBadly They're literally sponsored by various companies, have a tv show etc, this youtube thing, is a side hustle. Besides all their other stuff, jobs, and sound department. They're not just two blokes you know, they have employees under them.
@@f1sken727 Which sort of explains it even better - holding cars isn't profitable - selling them on is. MCM provenance cars are worth a premium too... you know "features on MCM" when you try to resell it later. So they are doing right for their business, holding a pile of cars really isn't all that.
It would be great to see you guys do the variety bash in that car.

My father got one of this and he does engine swap with K3VET and i can say with small and nimble chassis like that, paired with 1.3L turbo engine stock, this car is something else.
