Great video! Getting textures to look semi real can be tricky with the placement and sizing. I would love to see a whole series of texture videos geared towards the NPR style of rendering. Photo-realistic rendering for me takes too much time away from modeling and Sketchup has some great Style options that help. So, any tweaks to materials to find that happy medium render zone for impressive presentations is always appreciated.
Hi Arron, again very helpfull thank you! For me being a cabinetmaker manipulating a woodgrain over for instance a lofted chairleg would be even more educational. (regards from Holland)
I've learned more from Aaron's Skill Builder videos than any other Sketches tutorials I've watched. Is there a way to view them in order, as a discrete playlist?
Can you point to a tutorial that would show how to create the currugated panel? I appreciate this way of overlaying texture to boost the appearance od a"geometry."
i like use scale to adjust the object size but have a big problem. If i need add texture, the texture scale will wrong. sometime i can set projected but sometime can't. any method to restore / fix the texture size? thanks a lot.
SketchUp for Web cannot run extensions. 3D Connexion connects to SketchUp via a custon extension. At this point, SpaceMice only with with SketchUp for Desktop.
@@SketchUp yeah I had to purchase sketch up pro, now is working fine, with an exception, yesterday I was sketching a house plan and after I add the grass the software start acting up , and the 3d controler was acting weird
Been using SU for many years. But there is frequently something to learn from these videos. This is certainly one of those times. Thanks.
