If you are on bedrock edition, you need to change the redstone slightly to make the gate work. For the bottom portion that lifts the gate up , you need to click each repeater 2 times, not 1 like in the video. For the top portion, start at the top redstone torch, build 1 block further to the side and then connect the redstone dust to the top layer of pistons. Make sure that none of the redstone dust is touching the the bottom layer of pistons. Next, you want a 5x2 layer of blocks left of the redstone torch and 1 block down. Place 5 repeaters facing into the stone bricks under the 2 layers of pistons and use 6 redstone dust to connect it to the redstone torch. The gate should now open and close just like in the video.
BB, I think you should make a server so we could go visit builds like this. (And we could see the actual builds you made in these videos so it’s better for us to copy)
