9S already went bat shit insane and suicidal after learning that the purpose the YorHa had was a lie. Image what would happen if he learned that he (or at least the original version of him) was the one who had set up this lie all along?

Sooo essentially, it was no.9's version of project Yorha that was set into action, making no.9 the "god" who blessed the yorha units the cryptic puzzle 2B was referring to in the game intro monologue... And 2B was wondering if they'll ever get the chance to kill this "god"... Little did she know... She was already killing a representation or copy of this "god" over and over... 9S.

There's a single YoRHa Type H unit that was in charge of maintaining the server on the moon. Problem is, she didn't know she's on the moon where the council of humanity is supposed to be (they told her it's somewhere else) and everytime she discovered the truth, the pods stationed there would kill her and wipe her memory, over and over again

Type H is a healer model, focused on repair. Just like type S, on the field they are tasked with uploading their squad's data to the Bunker. The reason why type H was stationed on the moon was because type B or D would've been able to fight against the pods, while type S would've seen through the lies immediately

Update: 10H became a playable character in Nier Reincarnation. She's the main character for the last chapters. Sadly the game will close in april, which means she's only playable for 3 months since january to april 2024.
Turns out the whole game setting was on the moon server. The pods station there act like her own mother; often play with her and even baked a birthday/anniversary cake for her. It pains them to kill her again and again. In the end, they made peace and 10H never had to be killed again even though she discovered the truth.
Her story with the pods ended happily, but of course something else happened to her that made her unable to travel back to the earth along with the pods and other main characters of Nier Reincarnation

Actually in the novel No.9 questioned this as well. Humanity has clear preference of assigning flower names to females, yet Zinnia has the frame of male android. When asked why, Zinnia replied "Beats me"

I assume all Number 9 models share the same likeness, like 2B and A2 not being the same person despite sharing the same model no.

Yes and no. In the novel YoRHa Boys, there's a little illustration that depicts No.2 and No.9 that were with Zinnia. They look the same as 2B and 9S.
From the Pearl Harbor Descent manga, stage plays, and episode on the anime, A2 also had the same appearance as 2B, before letting her hair grows. They shared the same No.2 model
