Remember you need to roar when a Gojira is using it's 4th attack and 2nd attack if you're pretty close, a Titanus Godzilla's 3rd and 4th attack, Godzilla Ultima's 4th attack, Gigan's 4th attack, Sachiel's 3rd attack, Showa MG's first attack, ETC. Blocking won't always work. Also you can attack them if you press T for roar and cut it off before it finishes by doing an attack.

Personally this skin feels too...porcupineie, like it could be cool if they fixed up the awkward dorsals and removes all the spikes and added patterns instead

Evolved is actually going to be a varianty of the normal godzilla, with new attacks/custom attacks and animations(and model of course), its gonna be like a buff that you can buy, probaly gonna need xp to do that, maybe the same xp for a golden skin.
