What's funny about dreams is how you can walk into a room that makes no sense/couldn't exist in the real world and be like "oh, that's right, this is the fsnheurrgrhgh room."
For some reason we find out something Is odd only when we Wake up.. there could be an alien bone destroying the city end out Dream self would think its totaly normal..
I like to think that The Librarian is some pocket dimension safety inspector going around seeing if these different pockets are ok for human habitation.
I always imagined that he's some being from an interdimensional library, and his job is to document everything inside each world he visits. And he specifically takes charge of the horror and mystery section, with some similar beings existing for other topics such as history, art, and *_bvhvhurbghruygg_* studies
I always imagine he's an unlucky human being constantly thrown around into these different places with no breaks. Especially no breaks if he's on a horror map.
The Librarian offering to put the puking person out of their misery with a gun, not waiting for an answer, and then proceeding to unload everything he's got into that door is hilarious
2:13 to 3:03 he did the thing again!! Like the experience of the retroactive stroke from the Runaway 911 video. He repeats the same thing almost exactly and doesn't notice.
1:01 as someone who has lived in an apartment building (and is still living in one) it’s actually pretty creepy to look down the hall, specifically at night. it sometimes gives you the sense that something isnt right or something is going to happen if you stare down the hall for too long. yet this is my experience and somebody could have it differently :)
Hello Librarian, I can't express enough how much I love your videos, I watch them when I'm eating, I listen to them when I'm sleeping, and sometimes I play them in the background when I'm working. The commentary to every video is very comforting, love all your content, especially the vr exploration videos!
Idk if I just haven't seen enough Gmod maps lately, but this map has some gorgeous lighting, and attention to detail when it comes to said lighting. This is the kind of thing that makes me really excited for Source 2, and things like S&box. Not only can we get better graphics and performance, but hopefully also better map making tools. People are already crazy good with the existing tools in Source 1, and from what I've heard/seen, source 2 is way better and easier.
My favorite color has been purple, and that purple pool room made me strongly want an enclosed pool, despite my favorite pool moment being one in the middle of the night when it's raining.
Feeling how tired you are but resting at the same time is exactly how it feels every time I watch one of your videos, since you upload in what constitutes of the evening to me

Through out most of the video one of my dogs demanded ear scratches. So I'm hearing The Librarian's majestic voice and my dog grumping, same with my dog slapping one of the dog toys against my leg, so far this is a good day. 👍

Imo secret rooms are more common than many people believe. Like they're not common but certainly not rare. And secret rooms are usually due to boring stuff like an old room that got sealed off, owners desire, poor planning, collapsed building and so many more. But yeah I just got to the part where you mentioned how you used to think secret rooms would be much more common and decided to mention this. If anyone's curious the reason I know all this is because I've looked at a lot of building blueprints for fun probably due to my tism.

This map reminded me of samosbor. Samosbor is kind of "post-soviet backrooms" as I could enterpret it. Its whole concept bases on gagakhrush, which is essentially just a huge building that is always expands. According to lore, it was a project of soviet government to make some sort of infinite shelter or smth, I don't know much about pre-history of it. Anyway, good vid, looking forward for more of your content :D
Awesome video. Will you be exploring cscdesert? That map always creeped me out and a friend and I always felt like it was a liminal space before that term was even a thing.
I have a really good recollection of my dreams as I can remember dreams in pretty good detail from months and even years past, I wish I had the skill to recreate them in some sort of visual medium because I have some really vivid dreams with likewise crazy spaces. That’s why I hope someday we’ll have the ability to record and recreate dreams, I already love telling my dreams in detail to those who listen so I wish I could actually show them what I dreamt.

you should play amnesia the bunker, it's a short'ish survival horror game and you don't need to have played the previous games or understand the lore for it to make sense.
I remember my older dreams had buildings made almost entirely out of carpet for some reason. Welcome to dreams where logic gets doused in gasoline, lit on fire, and thrown through a closed window.
I had a fever dream once, I fought Obelix from Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra using a crossbow but instead of bolts we used crayons, later I and Miles Morales fought an emo guy who was shooting hair from his belly button. Not to mention that before that I was in fantasy land and I was looking for a secret treasure with Woody from the movie "This is England" or that Willam Defoe (that for some reason spoke only in French ) trapped me in his basement after I met him in a mushroom house

Often times my dreams write themselves very realistically which is odd as most people can tell when a dream is false but my brain remembers and writes everything perfectly. Then I wake up and go WTF how did I get back to my bedroom.
I think it be cool if you did like a reverse to the present deep dive into online and/or indie horror games Just to see how it all evolved you might start off with the original slender man then go to the SEP escape games and then five nights at Freddy’s I think it’ll be interesting cultural experience
But like start way before my cultural knowledge before slender man is kind of vague but I think that’ll be kind of cool I think you’d really suit your channel
U should play Paranoiac !1!1!1!1!1 Indie pixel anime style game about a woman who is told she is crazy… super scary and well made psychological horror game
wrong video but if you havent already recorded it, bring way more ammo than you think youll need for the last mission in ITR, i just did it myself and ran completely out about 3/4 the way through
Should really see if the nightvision related mod that I typically use that actually flips up and down and is customizable (modern warfare nvgs I think their called) great addon and mod for night maps and actually far more useable night vision and more realistic then other mods that just do a green filter and a ugly jpeg. Also some kind of pistol mounted flashlight is high recommended otherwise I love the flashlight bug combined with the safety glock idea! However why not try other VR guns? We seen that CS glock a lot. Is there any other interesting suitable VR guns around? Also I think in that VR cs pack of yours there's other pistols like the USP, Five seven and desert eagle or even smgs and rifles could be interesting. Perhaps for horror elements the pistol like the USP would be better. Shotguns work great for horror settings too. Survival horror themed, zombie killing vibes. The glock makes sense in a horror setting all the same though, such a common carry pistol. A VR 1911 or revolver or just other pistols would be interesting. Or even a better glock like a Black Mesa VR glock or something. Who knows depends what exists!
Sometimes, just sometimes, you might want to edit things just for fun. Silence from the pukeing cubical after you fired into it would've been quite fun and the dishonesty would be balanced by the fun of it given the boring nature of the actual in-game effect. Just saying:p
