MrCollegeSmart I understand what you are saying but please don’t be offended by this. We can’t keep destroying our own for things that we don’t like. The jury and prosecutors didn’t do a good job of painting her as a cold blooded killer. Thats not on the judge. Every one seem to follow suit after the brother humanized her by giving that first hug. It could have gone differently but it’s not necessarily the job of the judge to punish beyond the jury sentence. No offense it was a moment. I wish all judges could be that compassionate when it’s ok with the victim’s family.

Ten days was actually the least of it. He now has a record (that they're begging the judge to clear). He gave him 6 months probation that after pressure he reduced to 3 months. He gave him community service and a damn fine. HOLD on wait...... He has to give f@#king lectures on importance of juror duty. In 2019 this kind of judge is still on benches. 🤔😔😤

Her composure at first was I'm going free so im holding my head up was why she had a very stern and stiff composure. Her composure after the sentencing visable shaking was because she was going to prison like most people who goes they get shaken. It's clear to see the real story why she was shaking at the end because she couldn't believe it was happening to her. May Botham Jean rest in peace and may God be with his soul he is not forgotten.

All people are different after a guilty verdict. Ms. Guyger was stoic because she didn't expect a guilty verdict or prison time. Her tears were over her sentence, not over the loss of Botham. After sentencing, She didn't apologize to or request hugs from the Jean family.

I think that it took a lot of faith for the brother of the slain man to forgive her. I don’t believe it was premeditated murder or anything worse than a tragic error that results in the loss of life of a man who was totally innocent of any wrong and a woman who made a tragic mistake and then it escalated into a death. What is even more tragic is that the key witness was executed tragically. This is a nightmare that keeps killing

I saw nothing wrong with what the judge did. If you don't forgive neither will God forgive you. Especially if the person wants to repent and wants to know how to get to God. Don't tell people to forgive the unforgivable. It's like you're letting a murderer off the hook, which is what you're doing. This is what makes people outraged, and why the killings keep ensuing. Injustice is unforgivable and it's immoral to forgive injustice.

My aunt was murdered in 1999. Hating her killer gets me nowhere! It only kills my own heart! It only brings me down into a dark place. It takes an UGLY effort to HATE!
