The movie is set in a small village called Kambalapalli in Telangana, and it's about a college kid who falls for a similar phishing scam on his new email id, which he created on the village's only computer in a cyber cafe. Some real life disaster of this sort inspired this movie..
I’ve come across so many content creators who are Anti-Scammers and it’s so sad to see the source of these enterprises. It’s definitely a systemic failure if you earn more money through dubious means.
As someone who was scammed once by people who claimed that they were from SBI, the important things to remember are: - Verify details on your own as the call is going on - Take screenshots - They know that people can see through their BS so they’re more sophisticated - The tone will always turn impolite.
