do i still need Printify?
I sell digital art on Etsy and create 6 different jpg files for every image (I offer 6 aspect ratios: 2:3; 3:4; 4:5; 5:7; 11:14 and square), each one with the correct dimensions and with a DPI of 300. I save the jpgs to my google drive, and when someone purchases an image they only get a pdf file with the link to that google drive file where they can choose the aspect they want and download that.

For a few days now, I've been creating graphics on Kittl using AI, and the results are quite good. Since I resize and create ratios to make the 5 PDF formats for selling on Etsy using Canva (I don't think Kittl has this functionality), would you recommend creating images on Kittl in pixels or inches?
Additionally, when uploading them to Canva, is it better to download them from Kittl in PNG or JPG format? Or do you know of any other methods?

Thanks for this tutorial, do you not offer multiple sizes for your digital prints? This has been one of the things that has given me pause about making digital prints, doing all the size changes necessary and having to include a pdf with links instead of just 1 or 2 jpgs. I notice a lot of wall art sellers on Etsy offering multiple sizes, just curious if only offering 1 size can do well as you've shown.
Same, I’m held back by the thought of extra time adding / offering in multiple sizes.

Yes absolutely you should include that in your description to be fully transparent with the customer :)

I totally understand! I went to school for graphic design and learned Photoshop and Illustrator, which I used for years before jumping into AI. I've decided to embrace both! AI and images I create from scratch :) Only because I believe AI won't be going away any time soon. Hope that offers some insight. But I get your frustration! :)

Original non-Ai created artwork is always going to have a place in the commercial art world, Ai art may well be the latest shiny new tech toy but can never replace the tangible, brush strokes and feel of a genuine artwork produced by an actual artist. Good vid and advice for all seeking this as a viable means to generate income, and still requires commitment and hard work. 🎨
@@ecomsrich True, but that just glosses over the fact that for years to come traditional illustrators and artists will find it much much harder to get people willing to pay for their concept art, paintings, etc. Every creative industry will be hugely impacted.
I'm finding its not what you're selling, but how to get seen and ranked.
I have digital downloads with better asthetics and quailty than others on Etsy and been open since early spring with only 15 sales. Similar shops are generating daily sales...they're also slightly more expensive. Which is why I think the ranking has everything to do with being successful, not what you're actually selling.

Why is my AI wall art different than yours? I tried oil painting and acrylic but it looked nothing like your painting. And also my Kittl page keeps crashing whenever I try to download with 300 dpi. Very disappointed in KITTL.

I've heard people say on other videos we are not allowed to sell AI art on Etsy. Others say it is allowed but you have to state that it's AI generated. It seems like no one is asking these questions. Do you know the guidelines of selling AI art on Etsy?
How they're going to know that it is AI generated?
@@pen-and_paper It depends on the prompt I guess. Some art you can clearly tell it is made by AI. Lack of perspective and depth, flat camera angle, don't know where the light source is, certain parts that blend in with other parts, etc. When one of these things is very noticeable it's made by AI. But if the prompt is good, it appears that it is not as noticeable. Apparently on Etsy you can sell AI art as long as you mention it's made by AI, which is good because that's what I'm doing.

Same. I have a wide variety too and plan to categorize them into sections. It’s $15 for each new shop so I don’t want to open a new shop for each type of art. What did you end up doing and how did it work out for you ?

I have my digital download documents & listing up just fine.
Just to clarify, I’m speaking of the PID portion of the listing, A 12x18 is a different scale than a 24x36, is the 24 x36 POD a different listing in printify?

are the images that are created on Kittl upscaled or are they generated at that size by the AI. Most AI generated art is generally 1024 x 1024. Any higher and there it is mess, especially with people and hands.

Etsy already beginning to crack down on AI arts, eventually anyone that uses AI will get soft banned until they remove them.

Hi there! In Canva, you can place your art image on the artboard, select it and then go to "Edit Image" and select the one you want under "Smart Mockups". I hope that helps!

How do we know what size to make the JPG's for the digital version? On the flip side, if selling as a physical product, what size do we generate the photo file for Printify so that if they wanted a 20x30, there is no quality loss. Thanks!

its like amazon, they do the printing, packaging, shipping, and all expenses will be under your account. You'll likely lose more money having them do everything for you.

Hi Sandra, I’m Sandra too! Great name ;) I have a question about public domain/copyright. Im surprised so many shops sell copies of Picasso and Matisse art work for example. Surely these are copyrighted? I’ve tried to research on it and maybe some are no longer. For Picasso he only died in 1973 so they should be copyrighted until 2044 under Europe’s 70-year rule..yet there are probably hundreds of Picasso wall art listings on Etsy. Can you shed some light on this? I would be so grateful and thanks for your informative videos, straight to the point without fluff. Perfect!
For large files we have dropbox option but then how does the printify integration works? customers won't have a smooth ride...if you could plz explain...Also if i have a very large file, am i able to upload it in kittl, make it 300 DPI and make the size less than 20mb?
I tried using kittl, every generated image has something from with it. A dog with 4 ears, one with 6 legs 2 of which were under the couch the dog was on.. all simple prompts labrador with candy cane in mouch wearing santa hat… 4 ears and no candy cane in sight….
So I opened up a store with posters and seamless patterns. Made 5 sales in a month, made $20 in profit. But I didn't earn anything because all my profits covered my etsy ads expenses. What do I do next? I don't get it.
Great Video, and I have learnt a lot. Just confused with DPI? Would you create a separate file for each size of digital print, So 1 A4 Jpg or an A2 jpg etc. and if the initial image is a low res AI download does putting it into kettle at various sizes then saving it as A2, for example not just keep the low res original? Or should we save the original low res at 300 dpi first then re upload and do different sizes?? Sure that doesn't make sense!!! Any help appreciated

Sandra-I LOVE your tutorials and considering digital products. But can we make one listing design…almost like a group listing in apparel for a T-shirt or sweat shirt or blankets fleece or Sherpa…where the customer can see the ONE print, but has choice of digital, poster/canvas and maybe even framed option…under one listing…Maybe that’s too much, but I fear if they like the printed version, but they want it only digital or maybe canvas that they don’t know I have it in all options-but it is in a separate listing and I lose the order bc they don’t know to go to the shop and they just move on. For images, is it one credit/AI generation, or one credit/downloaded image?
