The efficacy of a port depends on the volume of the sound whereas a passive radiator is pretty much unaffected and is, thus, considered a better albeit more expensive solution.
Lol. More truth to that as one ages. I lost my two best friends last year to cancer and a slip & fall that caused brain bleed. Both were musicians and loved to talk about music and audio gear. I miss those guys and our conversations immensely. 🎶😎✌🏼
Your measurements matter more lol but good idea I actually have a pic I can share on next video. At the end the day I do not need to prove anything to anyone but since you request it I will do a video today as a follow up to be transparent.
@@greatlookinglandscapAwesome, 💯 better for me to soak in the video ,with you and your friend. Nice to see you converse with another Person on your channel.
Remember "Sound & Vision" Magazine Canadian version. They had a test record Lp. I got it back in the Mid 80's. It's a pretty cool Lp 😎 back in the day. For some reason I remember Name of the editor was Allen Loft I think.
Digital. The sweep is not complete its going to be done again now that bookcase is removed and the room is 8ft wide 9 ft high and extends way behind 6ft listening position and opens up from left to right.Do you have to use the word ASS!
Thanks!
Love you man
Thanks! Bighitter checking in.

My tower speakers have built-in powered subs with 2 passive radiators I've heard it's an alternative to having a port
yes sir.It was awesome to have a frequency sweep performed and proving what I felt about my room all along was correct
@@greatlookinglandscap That's good news you have good measurements for your listening position as most dont
@@Jack96993I knew my room was friendly but not that friendly. It required an inch of speaker movement.Crazy
It's awesome you got it fixed to the sweet spot. I wonder 🤔 you need your ears flushed out too . To make the sound even better 😂😂😂
Why not show the actual measurements?
