Actually, recently I had a thought about Mihawk's true power. I kindda believe Shanks is stronger this whole time, but the interesting thing is, Mihawk doesn't have a single scar on him, that's actually very rare among the strongest in the One Piece world.
Crazy thing is Garp, while he does have a scar on his face, he doesn't have anything on his fists, my man been fighting unarmed the like of Roger and WB and his fist are unscathed, his armement must be out of this world

I know skypiea was the first arc that actually lets the audience know that the story is MUCH deeper than what we thought it would be. There's still so many different significant connections to Skypiea still today.

It is said that the shandiens goal from 800 years ago was to protect the poneglyph so it means they were affiliated with Tha ancient Kingdom in the void century. And certainly with JoyBoy

When I got asked by some friends that got me watching OP anime, they didn't want to ask or say anything about the story until I caught up at that time (start of Wano arc). When they asked me then, what was my fav arc so far, I said Skypiea. They said most people either find that arc too slow, but for me the "slow" is exactly what made me like it so much. I liked everything about the arc, the parts where Luffy is just casually walking and singing about random shit, the giant forest that no one knew what's in there, the giant snake that ate some people and had parts of ruins, the mistery about why Shandians isolated themselves, the mistery about who was that self-proclaimed God, the introduction to observation haki/mantra which in reality was another mistery, and I can keep going. Literally every little part about Skypiea arc was fun for me, and it described everything I expected from One Piece. I hope we get to see more from the Shandians and their stories, since Dragon's face tattoo is just like theirs.
Skypiea is heavy underrated. The best way I’d describe it is “beautiful”. Everything about the Noland plot line with the golden city and the Shandrians, the klabautermon fixing merry, the fight for vearth, the strawhats looking for clues for the gold. Enel was a big threat that disposed of two from the monster trio with the lift of a finger, defeated actual “god” and took over, actually caused destruction to his island, and one of the most mysterious antagonists of the manga. Plus it had many great wholesome moments like the fire dance, zoro protecting chopper, Luffy ringing the bell for cricket, getting together with the shandians. Also just to add in, the arc that chopper flourished in which rarely happens
Even in that fire dance scene the people's dance figures resemble of sun god nika's silhouette, that arc was truly a deep one.
Skypiea is easily the worst arc of one peice and one of the most boring arcs I've ever watched. So fucking boring holy shit, the action was so lackluster and anticlimactic. It almost made me quit the show. I forced myself through it only to get to water 7 arc. Which is superior in every way. Enel was a weak ass villain. And they did a cop out making his electricity basically usless against Luffy since he's rubber. Mind you one peice is one of my favorite animes but holy shit that arc was bad. Thank God I pushed through it and kept watching.

Thats a wild statement to me. Skypiea was packed with a lot of story instead of fighting, meanwhile enies Lobby felt more packed with fighting than story. Maybe we just like different things🤷♂️
damn this whole interview got me so hyped. wish i coulda been surrounded by so many one piece fans at an event like that 😭 as a zoro and franky stan myself, i also gotta stand up for water 7 as best arc. you get the whole initial enemy becomes your irreplaceable ally/crewmate (who is SUPERRRR hilarious btw), the luffy/usopp showdown like that guy mentioned, and in turn, what i think is one of the Greatest Zoro Moments in the series (aside from thriller bark "nothing happened") where he blocks everyone's path from trying to get usopp back before he's properly apologized. so good, SO GOOD 🤌

The only time was when Zoro was in sync with sanji to force Franky to joint he crew that was they stole his pants. When garp hit luffy in the post-enies lobby arc, Oda had confirmed that garp wasnt using haki, and the reason why he was able to hurt luffy so much, is that luffy imagines garp to be stronger than him, and he also fears garp because of the stuff in his childhood. The only other person who has been able to hurt luffy without the use of armament haki, is nami for the same reason as garp.

Impel down is by far the best arc for me. Till this very day I haven’t come across an arc that’s got my so hyped and on the edge of my seat throughout. Reintroducing old names, old enemies teaming up together all with the same goal, the journey coming down impel down and then going back up, man that arc was unbelievably good.

Agree, there´s no better arc than Impel Down. Luffy can´t use plot armor here, he was just constantly saved by Bon Clay adn have to use any help he can handle to achieve his mission. Also, Magellan is top 3 Arc enemies.

Shout out to the guy who said Skypiea as his favorite arc. Not sure why it's such a hated arc when so much mysteries that we're still trying to figure out till this day was revealed. Good antagonist in Enel, lots of lore, and etc. You can honestly say that for most arcs in One Piece though 😂😭

I will always love Thriller Bark!! Brook’s whole introduction had me laughing every episode and the whole connection with Laboon had me crying and laughing and seeing all the straw hats come together to fight eventually zombie Luffy was incredible. And then seeing the trust they have for each other and Zoros loyalty just cemented it as my favorite arc. I love this show so much, I wish I could’ve been there❤

Personally, I like Alabasta/Arabasta’s arc the most. The audience met a lot of beloved characters here Mr 2, Ace, Princess Vivi, Vivi’s duck (forgot the name LOL), and Robin. Also, if I remember right this was the first time the crew had to accept that one of their friends and potential crew member will not be joining them in their journey.
In my opinion, my favourite arc must be whole cake island.
I love the way they explain sanji about his backstory that explains why he always wants to sacrifise himself for the crew, plus the katakuri vs luffy fight is incredible!!!

While I think Water 7/Enies Lobby is the best written arc, Alabasta will always have a special place in my heart. It’s the base for many of the arcs that came after it, and Vivi is an amazing character. Drum Island also has a special place in my heart.

I started one piece a few years ago when I was in a tough spot in my life. My favorite is Enies Lobby, when Robin screamed, I want to live. I was there with her. I would have cried during this interview cuz One Piece has meant a lot to me in such a short time. But when dude said Ace Donut I laughed with tears in my eyes lol not the donut. But hey im finally caught up to Wano

Favorite Straw Hat:
For me, its Brook. I feel like he is one of the funniest and best characters. The concept of a walking gentleman skeleton is great, the use of his devil fruit keeps things interesting while not being overly OP. He's a pretty great swordsman when he gets a chance to show it. His work during the Sanji Rescue arc was amazing - subduing Big Mom's subordinates and cutting Prometheus, not to mention fighting and surviving against Big Mom herself while STEALING THE PONIGLIFF right from under her nose. I'd love to see more of him. Plus, as a musician, he kind of has that "battling bard" persona which is a fun archetype.
Shanks or Mihawk:
My gut response was Shanks. Obviously his haki is on another level that we havent even really explored yet. Its far beyond anything we've seen even with Kaido and Luffy. That being said... the more I thought about it. Mihawk is the "worlds greatest swordsman". He's not "a great swordsman" or "one of the best" he is THE BEST. So I dont want to discount him easily, especially in a 1v1. While I think its close, I get the feeling Mihawk might actually win in a battle to the death 1v1. Could be wrong though, need more info.

What is the best arc in One Piece?
Honestly I loved a lot of the answers. Alabasta had some great worldbuilding moments, Marineford was the first super large-scale one. Wano is long and epic and controversial. But the more I think about it, Enis Lobby was probably what I'd consider the best arc. It had the absolute MOST growth in power for every character in the strawhats of any arc since (even I'd say fishman island post-timeskip)
1. It introduced us to Luffy's Gear system
2. Zoro revealed Asura
3. Sanji showed off his Diable Jambe
4. Sogeking showed off his new Kabuto slingshot and his skills by out sniping the marines (Usopp was there too at the very end, wish we saw him more)
5. Chopper went Monster Point
6. Nami even got more badass at using her clima-tact to defeat another devil-fruit user and show off her witch skills
Additionally it gave us one of the best moments ever, the iconic "I want to live" with Robin and that badass pose of the straw hats looking up as the world government flag was set ablaze. They really declared that at this moment Straw Hats were a force to be reckoned with. Honestly a really solid arc. Your opinions may vary but this arc definitely set the stage for many latter on reveals/powerups/ and surprises.
Who is the strongest Character in One Piece right now?
Imu. It's 100% Imu. They literally are at the head of the world. They have more power than ANYONE we've seen in the entire verse. On their command an entire island was eradicated. Pretty hard to dismiss that.

Tbh according to me, if he asked what was the most emotional arc of all of One Piece, I’d probably say the Baratie arc. The story of Zeff and Sanji and how they survived was genuinely sad. Even the ending, where Sanji thanked Zeff for everything he’d done and then joined the Straw Hat Pirates. But the saddest scene from the entire arc was definitely when Sanji came to steal Zeff’s “food” after he had dropped his last piece of bread into the ocean by accident. When he sliced his bag in half, only to find gold and how Zeff told him that he’d given Sanji all his food and sacrificed his leg to save him. It was a truly sad arc.

Drum Island arc almost made me genuinely cry, I’m almost to Enis Lobby but out of all the backstories Choppers almost made me cry.
I love that dude that said Skypeia is his favourite arc. I rewatched One Piece and just finished Skypeia recently and what he said about rewatching Skypeia with the knowledge of the recent chapters of the manga is eye opening, he's right about that.
i personally loved dressrosa arc the most. which includes some of the saddest backstory in one piece of law, rebecca, kyros, doflamingo and corazon. badass villains and unforgettable fights.
In my opinion, I think that Impel Down arc is the best one for me, to see all the old villains we faced working with Luffy to free his brother really embodies of what Mihawk said in Marineford that Luffy has a special ability on making people his allies, whether if they were enemies or not. Also, Magellan for me is my favourite villain, he wasn't a bad guy, he was just doing his job and the plot made him a villain and the fact that he resorted to freeing future Titanic Captain, Shiryu, so he stop the chaos happening the prison really showed how loyal he was to his duty and when he failed, he kept on trying to kxll himself which ultimately led to his downfall.
For me not my fav arc but a memorable one is thriller bark just because of Zoro. That "nothing happened" scene will always be engrave in my mind.

My favorite strawhat is franky too, to me he's the man-est man ever, he's not afraid to cry, he's super cool with his friends, he's strong, so dramatic. And the arc that had me most emotional was definitely Water7+Ennies Lobby because we got Franky's story and Robin's too, it's because of one piece that I'm taking exams to major Archeology. It was the first major I ever thought about, back when I was just 13yo. It was the first time I dreamed about living and going to university, but when I told it to my History teacher at the time she mocked my dream, told me I'll never find a job
Thriller Bark will always be no.1 for me. I adore Brook and that entire arc’s story. The villains were amazing and the character development for everyone was the icing on the cake. And to top it all off, the strawhats coming together to take down Oars was beautiful and a moment that I will never forget. Zoro’s sacrifice was absolutely amazing too! Thriller Bark gave the entire crew so many awesome moments!

Fr, not just Haki and Enel, there was also the Poneglyph about Joy Boy, and Roger being able to read it. Skypiea in my opinion is the arc of connection of storytelling and world building in one piece

This interview got me so hyped haha I can feel how much they love and appreciate One Piece as much as I do.
Skypiea is underrated AF! first arc where the straw hats imo really faced opposition (croc was second but I feel like they had a harder time in the sky) and really started to add the seriousness factor to things that they didn't have before. Skypiea is what hooked me for sure even if I started out hating the arc because I didn't understand lol
@boy Afrika i didnt like water 7 but I loved enies lobby for sure. not saying that water 7 wasn't an important arc it was just that it was okay to me. I don't like ussop so guess I didn't vibe so much with it but I am caught up in anime and can't wait for the ending and then going to rewatch it with my kiddos when they get a little older its going to be great

I started out super bored with it after struggling some of the previous episodes I wanted to give up op entirely but it’s what truly hooked me and I love all the conspiracy stories that came from it lol I’m caught up in the show but don’t read the manga
Franky is severely underrated, he is my favorite Strawhat aswell, his powers are so cool, and his creativity for building robots and Ships is just perfect, his Post-Time Skip design did not please me very much but I still really like him.
My favorite arc is still Alabasta. Crocodile was a badass villain and the sense of urgency with all the factions coming to a head is just so good ! And Vivi is one of my favorite characters of course.

This might be an unpopular opinion... but I LOVE Thriller Bark. Because it introduced Brook who I ADORE, we had the Kuma fight, the Straw Hats fighting Ors like a team... Luffy pushing the zombie into the ground (which always cracks me up) and other weird somewhat creepy stuff... which I adore XD Also... Usopp vs Perona is hillarious!

For me it's gotta be sabaody/sanjis 2nd backstory arc. Sabaody hits hard when luffy tells everyone to run because he knows they aren't strong enough. It really is a good prelude to the next time Luffy realizes his strength isn't enough to save someone he cares about. Sanjis 2nd backstory hits the heart-strings.

Luffy is one of the few main characters that are also the favorite character (or really close to) of most of the community, there are very few I can think of in the big titles, and some are like Goku who is one of the favorites of their verse cuz there are like a total of 3 characters with enough development, personality and screen time to be liked

For me, the one piece is something that will make us all cry, look back, remember and cherish the journey we had with the series, as well as our own life journey that was bound to it on certain chapters. I imagine the crew all seeing something different when they find the one piece. It is unique cause it will be different for everybody who finds it which makes it kind of not existing and existing at the same time. It is the one piece reminding us what we have been through. It gives you peace and the certainty that everything happens for a reason. Once you see things that way life becomes precious and less scary. In that way you don't even fear death cause it is a friend picking you up when your ready. That's why Roger smiled and was at peace at his execution. There was nothing missing in his life and he knew the truth.

My favorite arc has got to be Dressrosa. Doflamingo is such a great villain. The way luffy meets Sabo and is so happy one of his brothers is still alive and he knows that sabo gets Ace's fruit and its always gonna be in good hands. This makes Luffy super happy and gives him peace of mind he would not of had. Also the way the strawhats expand their ability to use haki is amazing. Zoro's op swordsmanship finally comes out when he uses armament haki to fully make his sword black is just great!!

I got back into One Piece a few days ago, and I knew it was peak fiction but DAMN. Oda foreshadowed Marineford before it was even a thing! (Episode 1 where Coby had internal monologue about not having regrets since he said what he wanted to say to Alvida, which was the same thing he did with Akainu)

I agreed with the Franky supporter on blackbeard being the strongest character right now, but I think he already has a mythical zoan. Some type of octopus mythical zoan perhaps the kraken. Octopuses have 3 hearts (which is why he is able to eat 2 other devil fruits) and 8 legs and if you look at his jolly roger it's 3 skulls (which indicates the 3 hearts) and 8 bones (which indicates 8 legs an octopus have). Also it was mentioned in the flashback that he does not sleep, octopuses sleep cycle is so short that you can count it in seconds.
My money's on dog-dog legendary type, model Cerberus. Three skulls, therefore three heads. And Luffy and Zoro hinted that Blackbeard is multiple people, which fits Cerberus better than octopus.
