the black unit can control any AA ones up to 4 trains with 4 receivers. the blue can control 1 train at a c cell while the green unit can control a c cell with up to 4 locomotives with 4 receivers.

Plarail Advance use a single AAA battery in a centre carriage.
Like how the Advance can fit 2 trains on 1 track, but the size makes it unusable for my movie set which consists of lego people

I've seen Mr Motorman videos but I don't know much about it. The receiver on the Mr Motorman I've seen appear to be the same size as a C battery.
