I love how a name of a fallen brother is called and the crowd answers with "hier" (= "present"). One of the best ceremonies ever in human history, regardless the ideology.
The description is a little misleading. This isn't a reenactment of the putsch, it's the internment of the bodies of the martyrs in the ehrentempels in the königplatz on November 1935.
I think they did the reenactment before this ceremony, I know they did a reenactment for many years after this, maybe stopping after the war was underway.
A badly needed explanation. I guessed it but couldn't be sure. Thank you. A minor correction. Nouns in German must be written with a first capital letter: Putsch, Ehrentempel, Königsplatz.
It's easier so portray him as a drugged maniac, than to try to explain how he got into power. That's why I don't watch historical documentaries anymore.
And what is even hard to believe is how he did it in an era without internet, social media and mobile phones. This movement is the answer to a hard life Germany had after losing the war and what French and English did to Germans. Wait to see what will happen with all this Muslim invasion in Europe. Those two cultures will never converge.
All the bodies were removed by the Americans. They contacted the families and gave them the choice of reburial or cremation if they didn’t want the body.
thanks for this it was never on the history (hitler channel) channel i am also looking for the tribute to the president of the weimar republic and his last days in death bed

@justintimbersaw3934
This Ritual is the Ideology and vice-versa.
You should have said "regardless of their misteps" or mistakes.

You forgot the pistol shot into the ceiling first.
Sehr schon
I saw shows before where they try to portray him as some kind of a coward or something. Sorry but, the fake narrative doesn't fit reality.
@Tautriadelta sure bud

There are people who to this day don't know that hitler actually ran for president. So yeah fuck those documentaries.
Incredible, how one person did all that!!
you sure one person could even do that?
He had a little help from his army, navy, corps of bodyguards, planners, architects, advisors, etc.
