    Very nice route. I especially like the walk along the street shops. The peace and tranquillity around that time of day. Also nice to see the murals! Thanks for uploading!

      Hope you will have a chance to ocme by one day. It's a fairly popular area with the locals. Don't see many tourists here even during the pre-covid days.

    _Many thanks for the Kreta Ayer tour video upload Alan. Btw that chinese opera mask wall at the Kreta Ayer CC is Instagram worthy! __6:30__ Kreta Ayer is another location where it is uniquely Singapore. Great job as always_

      Yeah its one of tthose hidden gems that tourists really dont know about or rarely come. There are some small boutique hotels here but even during covid days it was never really crowded

      Thank you Fatima 😊 Just some additional information about Keong Saik Street which is in the beginning of the video, this street used to be a major red light district in Singapore's past. In fact there was 1 or 2 brothels still in operation before covid times but I believe it might have already closed down. The whole street has (over time) changed its business to boutique hotels and restaurants. A big change has happened to the year

    I would find it very nice and interesting to know what day and time you were walking. Maybe you could start with a quick look at your wristwatch.
    If one would like to have a similar experience on location it would help a lot...
    Best wishes!

    Thank you very much for the walking video, I miss Singapore as I spent a couple years before as a student, Unfortunately Covid-19 still making people to do traveling inconvenience; even we do, probably won't have enough wondering through the small lanes or building complex back Conner which we wish to, your video just filling the gap, thanks again, make more please:)

      I was close to East Coast today but we had a thunderstorm of sorts so I had to stop and find shelter 😂 Again parks or nature related content tend to do really poorly on this channel soo just a gentle mention that I will try, but I won't go out of my way to film East Coast. That said you can view this video of East Coast that I took before covid struck. Hope this video will help:

    For those who are not familiar with the locality of your featured walk, it will be helpful if you have a Singapore map with the zones highlighted. Thanks

    • @DiscoveryWalkingToursTV
      @DiscoveryWalkingToursTV  3 года назад

      Thanks for the feedback Francis. It is a valid suggestion. It did cross my mind before as a couple of prominent walktubers do place a map in the beginning. That said, I decided not to implement it as I found it distracting. I decided to just place timestamps in my description, and if people are keen to know more they can google the street or building names (which based on comments is what they do)😊
