      Thanks brother, that is an fs19 map conversion, i believe that fencing is a prefab un fs19 editor 8.2.2

    I was looking for a video/guide in how to adjust/make wildlife spawn points or where to find it on a map to relocate them. Do you have a video on that?

      hi there.. no i have not got any videos on that, if you look at the line for it you will see its part of the encrypted dataS folder, so it is not editable, the spawning also i believeis random positioning.. but i have never seen anything on it though..

    Hey Farmer Bob, I thank you once more for all your hard work, I've learnt so much from you. I wanted to return the favour for once, did you know you can actually create navigation meshes using the infoLayer paint tool? You paint the terrain and then create a mesh out of it. Much easier and more precise than using planes

      Oh wow, thanks for that, i did not know it, but when you select the info layer paint tool, which layer do you use to paint the mesh with?

      @@FarmerBoBonRUclips if you do not have the infoLayer called infoLayer, just create it. You need a black png 8192x8192 Gray mode, 8 bpc, like the others infolayers. Call it infoLayer_infoLayer.png. Same way as you taught me how to add fruits, add the file reference to the png in the map.i3d, look for any other infolayer, copy and paste one and change the reference.
      Look for the infoLayers detail lower down in the file and create one linked to the file for your new infoLayer (I set it at 8 channels and it works fine), name id infoLayer.
      Open your map in the editor and in the infolayer you should now have your new layer. Save the map so it generates the right reference numbers and change the file extension from .png to .grle in the map.i3d. You are now ready to do as Giants Editors teach in this video here:

      I may do a small video tutorial, but I'm new to videos, I have no followers and you may be better on doing it and you can definetly reach more people ;)
      Anyway, I'm about to complete a new fantasy map deigned from 0 and 0 knowledge. Most of what I've learnt came from your video and I'll always be greatful for that. Thank you for all you do, you have given me something very important, knowledge! I wish I can do the same soon, I would love to have my own channel and teach as you do.       @FarmerBoBonRUclips So, you need to create an info layer called infoLayer. The process is about the same than when you showed how to add more fruits to the map.
      1st create a black png, 8192x8192 grey mode 8 bit, named it infoLayer_infoLayer.png and place it in the map Data folder.
      Open the map with notepad and add this in the file references:
      Then find the infolayer setting in the map.i3d, lower down, and add the following:
      Open the map with the Editor and you should now find your new infoLayer in the infoLayer section. Save the map to sort the new added references and generate the infoLayer_infoLayer.grle (change the extension in the map.i3d from png to grle and save the file. Refresh/Reopen your map and you can now paint on the new infoLayer, using the bits to the relative animal (0=cow 1=sheep ....).
      Once you painted your area, open the create navigation mesh. Here you know what to do to create a mesh, but make sure the Enable Culling is ticked and in the Culling Infolayer Name write infoLayer (if not present).
      The editor will use the painted infoLayer as reference to build the mesh for you using the reference bit you will set in Culling infoLayer Channel
      You can set objects in the area to be considered when creating the mesh. A tree or a wall for example. Open the tree LOD0 and in the shape tab set the Build Nav Mesh Mask to the same bit as the animal you are creating. When the mesh will generate, it will make a hole in the where the tree is. You can use the same system on any objects, also buildings.
      I hope I’ve explained it in an understandable way and I hope I managed to give you back something useful!

    Hi, great videos! did you know you can drag and drop plane elements, rather than use (ctrl + x & ctrl + v). the middle mouse button will drag and drop and move elements in Giants Editor.

      Thanks brother, the road packs that you download and build roads with like lego blocks basically supercede the idea of building a custom road..

      Yes, the 'serre.i3d.shapes' file is too big, so open the 'serre.i3d' and export its components into your map and remove the original, then import the seperate components.

      animals walk on the navmesh, your navmesh is not in the right place :) so import it into the stable, make sure it is postioned correctly and save the mesh over itself :)

    I only as 1 min 50 as I couldn’t get what you had in the top tool bar this Pc local disk steam etc data I looked in my drive & couldn’t find anything not even FS22

      Hi there, ok that directory tree is your game install directory, if you check where fs22 is installed on your pc, that is the directory where the data folder is. In there is the game files, placeables, ingame maps, textures etc..

      Hi there, if your video quality setting is on auto you might have this problem if your internet is bad for some reason. All my videos is done on 1080p which will give clear good quality video on any 24 to 27" monitor. So set your video quality at 1080p. Also note youtube doesnt remeber this so you have to do it to each video. Please let me know if this helped. When i watch the video on my side it is perfect.

    I’ve had to give up,I got up to where your creating a plane for nav mesh, your working speed is just to fast, & I am sorry to say it buddy but it is a working speed & not a teaching or learning speed, & you know yourself if you start attempting to add or change things & it isn’t right then it’s just creating errors

      Hi Andrew my speed is relative to get a great video out that is also not too long. I always sugguest to guys not to watch and try.. that never works and leads to errors as you rightly say 🤣.. but the better and correct way to follow any of my videos and i suppose all other similar types is to use the pause button on the video. So the video then becomes a very powerfull tool and it is meant to be used in a watch pause do approach. That leads to no errors and a perfect working copy of what the video is about. When you have an instruction manual for a nuclear power plant you will never read the entire manual and then go and try it..... disaster brother.. no you will read step 1, then do it.. then onto step 2.. same with the videos 🤣😄👍😉

      @@FarmerBoBonRUclips I can understand there’s a lot of ground to cover when you produce excellent comprehensive vids & maybe it’s my brain not being up to the task, GE can be frustrating, & I watch your vids over & over before I attempt anything, is there a written manual for GE? & would this vid work with imported husbandry from a mod hub map (I have permission) I noticed you was setting up a plane for the navigation mesh node, but in the file I imported it only had nav mesh & nav mesh in the visual, it’s the cow husbandry from Newpark map & thanks for your reply 👍

      @@andrewtaylor8453 hi Andrew, yes you need to create new planes and edit those planes as i showed in the video. Then export the main transform to create your navmesh.
