- On September 20th 2009 the best off-road racers in the west showed up for round 9 of the World Off Road Championship at Glen Helen Raceway. Kurt Caselli takes a break from the GNCC series to race at one of the most famous southern California tracks and brings home the win for KTM

I have a buddy JD Penrod who won this a few years ago when WORCS first started. He said it's a blast to ride! Destry Adams was riding then. Two strokes rock the Casbah!!
WORCS will not be the same without Nathan Woods. . RIP Nate!

Exactly, by the time the factories have changed the suspension, tripple clamps, wheels, worked the engine, steering dampners, handlebars etc...the bikes are hardly like the original anyway...it's all down to personal choice, i've been riding Hondas for years but this year (2011) i am changing from red to orange, 450EXC, such a sweet ride....especially for us 40plus year olds....

Because that's what Kurt's riding. Put him on a Yamaha, and my money says he'll still win a lot. Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki, Yamaha...they're all great bikes. That being said, I like my KTM.

@avzeolla Words is more offload and crazy obstacles while motocross is a more structured track with regular jumps and stuff
you should just have to sign up and pay the fees to race. i did a couple worcs races that were combined with the mran series

your point is understood but bike is some part you only have to look as far as david knight when he got off the ktm and on the bmw. =P. sorry .

@southerncalicriminal its mostly the rider but have you ever ridden a KTM? lol nuff said.
well it seems that certain dirt bikes are the best on certain terrains
KTM-desert and rough terrain
Yamaha- like motocross tracks
Kawasaki-non really just a loud show off bike
Suzuki- red soft dirt type places
Honda- idk
And he hasn't been able to do squat back East.

This is the best part of the race 0:34. Thats when you think ohhh shit shes HOT HOT HOT, i gotta finish first so i can have her, hummmmm shes so sexy I WANT HER NOW! You leave the grid full power and get in first and then 5 min later you crash...
