Youre so underrated bro, keep it up. Btw, infusing weapons at the blacksmith is basically just affinities in Elden Ring. You cant change the weapon art but you can change the effect using one of those gems (like the Raw Gem you got from the crystal lizard) to make it a raw weapon or a heavy weapon just like Elden Ring, and for specific affinities you have to give the blacksmith certain ashes to unlock that effect, kind of like bell bearings. Best of luck!
First of all, loving your content dude. Keep doing this stuff. You're realy good at it. Secondly, for me, as a Darksouls player before Elden Ring even existing, is realy curious and interesting to see you discovering how the game is played. What I respect most about Dark Souls is that it doesnt have delayed attackes or Input reads or stunlock combos because it doesnt need to. If a boss in DS3 is difficult, it is because the moveset itself is hard.
Ds3 bosses have crappy tracking that forces you to just input rolls in order to win, dark souls 1 had a way less one dimensional combat while still being difficult. Also enemies had way less health, fuck gael

@@fabhill9988 gael is a shitty boss like most ds3 bosses, which could might as well just be a black screen with "press button in 3 seconds" written on it. Those red barrels explode when hit with fire (e.g. your bombs) and some enemies are highly susceptible to fire (e.g. the dogs). Thrust attacks are best used as counter attack, which is right when the enemie is attacking, because you benefit from their lowered thrust resistance, which ups your damage with thrust attacks. You can do it either with daggers and the like if you step aside (e.g. quickstep) or while blocking their attacks with a rapier or a spear.
