"When he spoke to Ron Howard about making the film, Howard advised him not to make any more. Warwick would then return to play his roll 'The Leprechaun' in five more squeals..."
This had me laughing so hard.
As an 80s baby I've seen almost all of these films and loved them. My son is 3 and I can't wait to introduce him to 80s kid movies.
I used to use some of your original videos in my English classes to teach students how to write profiles, and I was really disappointed when they were removed. I'm so glad to see they've returned.
This was my favorite No Small Parts. I remember it so well bc I've been a fan of Warwick for 35 years ♥
I also loved his cameo in Ashens and the Quest for the Game Child.
This made me so happy! I adore Battle For Endor. Warwick is so fantastic 😊
If there ever was an actor really deserving Hall of Fame, it's him. ^^ Even if he rarely gets the leading role, he's one of the big stars.
He may only take supporting parts, but I'm glad Warwick Davis is beloved and well known. He's overcome a lot in his life and serves as inspiration to us all. He's done good acting and is a genuinely nice person.
Struggling Dwarf Actors: *are already the actual size of Hobbits*
Peter Jackson: Lets photoshop normal-sized actors to play Hobbits.
Lifes too short is comic genius and so underrated.
Iv always adored Willow. Fantastic film with a wonderful James Horner score. Warwick is obviously a great person and he brightens whatever he is in
What about The 10th Kingdom! One of my favourite series of all times, and it was great to see Warwick get to play a bad guy with his real face!
Yeah, I think that was the first time I saw Davis in something where you can see his face, so he'll always kind of be Acorn to me.
You don’t pronounce the second W in his forename, FYI
Nice mullet back in ‘92 by the way... business up front, party at the back!
Just found this channel. So excellent. Your narrative is engaging and so well researched
Happy to see you back!
He also played as Acorn in my favorite miniseries of all time, “The 10th Kingdom” 🏰
Thank you for reupload. Pure gold!!!!
You mentioned The Dark Crystal. Time for me to watch it again with someone else I'm gonna talk to about the esoteric spiritual overtones whilst they're tied to a chair so they don't leave after the credits when I've still got three hours' more exposition to go...
...and of course, to follow it up by doing the same thing with Willow, although I'd be able to let them go when the film is finished.
I love Willow. I was when I became a fan of Warwick Davis. And when I herd that he met his wife Samantha in the movie, I loved it even more. He is a freaking legend
I love this guys work. Had no idea he was an Ewok!
Fantastic stuff and a brilliant series :D
He is funny in the leprechaun brilliant actor 👍✌
You should do another Supporting Actor Sportlight video on another dwarf actor who was in Star Wars - Mike Edmonds.
Hello, British dude here.
It's pronounced "Woh-rick". And the place, Surrey, is pronounced "Suh-Ree"
I don't mean to be an arsehole, just trying to help
Loved the video!
It was really nice to see him in Solo!
This was good men ty love warwick. I didnt see willow
Always tripped out on how big his hands are for a little person. He's got some long fingers!
not every child in his generation liked Star Wars, after all the hype, this 8 year old felt it was a big let down
Please Warwick, do one more Leprechaun movie.
Help save the franchise.
I have The Ewok Adventure somewhere on vhs.
My favorite Warwick Davis movies are Star Wars and Harry Potter.
WHAT?!?
You're NOT Jonah Hill?!?!?😁
I swear they had all of the books on the BBC, but... no evidence exists of that. So, guess not, but still I remember it. Weird.
Can we just have Willlow 2 already!
Are any of these reupload going to be updated with new information?
I mean, 4-5 years since the originals is a long time in a persons life. FGS, 2 of your old subjects have passed since their respective videos.
I always thought Warwick was a terrific character actor. I recently watched the third season of An Idiot abroad. Very funny!
BBC Narnia is the best and my childhood.
billy barty was also in willow forgot to mension that
This was made before Star Wars episode 7 The Force Awakens?!
(But uploaded Jan 29th 2019?!) 🤔
That's the first thing explained as soon as the video starts. It was uploaded in 2014 under a different brand name and he sold that name so he's reuploading them with a different name.
Considering it was recently reported that Edie McClurg has dementia, do you think that might be a good time to do a Supporting Actor Spotlight? She definitely has an interesting history...
The second W in his first name is silent. BTW.
no mention of Willow in this???
It is mentioned though, did you watch the whole video before commenting?
I was surprised enjoyed Solo, too bad they gave Warwick such a tiny part
I see what you did there. lol
😁
He always has a tiny part
I sometimes wonder how much more well known Warwick would be in America had he been chosen for the role of Tyrion. Just a thought.
This is a struggle most actors who belong to minorities face actually
I am autistic and I want to be an actor
It's pronounced worrick, not warwick
This lost me the first time he mispronounced Warwick. Do your homework
