I played counter blox as a child then i started playing csgo in 2018 it was the exact same but ofc less fps,spin bots, and hackers it was hell on both ends but.... One thing made csgo different for me was the community servers where i mostly played like 90% of my time i had no issue againsts cheaters since the server was owned by one of my friends and i was given admin powers so that i could ban and kick accordingly....Luckily i never had to use the power.
@@justsomeguy8597 theyve been "making a new one" for a while now. it was called project CB2023 or something like that, and as the name implies, it was supposed to come out in 2023. even before that, they still havent delivered on the promises that they made back in 2018 when the game got remastered, like ranks in a ranked comp mode or even just simple knives like M9s or shadow daggers. I do think this recent hype is the closest we're getting to some movement though if theyre gonna be smart and take advantage of the recent publicity

Honestly this is the main reason. The skin shift from CBRO to CB had a lot to do with copyright but there was no point in making the movement as bad as it is. Feels like im moving on ice. Combined with the no updates after the shift, there was no hope for it to get better.

2017 CB player here, ROLVe made a good game, promised updates, and never came through. The game was actually good until around 2021, then it fell off. If the devs actually tried and put out a half decent update, such as new game modes, skins / models and fixed the buggy trading system, then CB actually could be better than it is now. It's really a shame, the amount of potential the game had.
Another reason why cb was super appealing, it was much easier cuz all your enemies were 13 year olds lmao. Team cringe had a literal monopoly on the pro scene for like 2 years
Rolve makes valve game clones, it’s what they do. There’s a TF2 one as well they’ve made. When I was a teenager I developed on Roblox to make extra money, the most profitable games (the ones that were actual games, and not just obstacle courses or tycoon games) are mini-game style ones. The ones where you could drop in/out with little consequence. I’m assuming that’s why they pivoted to arsenal. It’s just a more marketable Roblox game than counter blox.

Had a pretty sizable inventory in the game. Had some rare skins. Lost them all in a corruption bug due to a Halloween event. Never went back, enjoyed d2 and Val more now. Very VERY good Roblox game until they had to recode it. Ever since then the gun play has felt really off. Miss the old code

i played roblox with a executor, and anytime i joined this game i automatically loaded up scripts cuz the game was unplayable. crazy amount of cheats but overall game hasnt changed so i guess tis better than valve.
