After modi visit to lakshadweep .I started searching video I saw your video.its dam good n beautiful place. Offcourse it's as too develop more in coming days.
Thank you so much for making this video :) this was uploaded 1 year back but looking at the current situation between Maldives and the Indian government, this video seems to be futuristic and visionary, thank you so much Ivana for this vlog :)
When I saw the paragraph introducing the hotel room, I thought it had a comedic effect: your wife's puzzled expression, the faucet from the Titanic😂... Although the hotel is not as good as it should be, but honestly, the natural environment is really nice. The wildlife is well photographed, enriching the footage of the Vlog. The aerial shots of the island are even more exceptionally beautiful, the sunset under telephoto is impressive, and the vast starry sky is desirable. You are a photographer who can find beauty in nature even on rainy days that everyone thinks are inconvenient to shoot - nice macro shots. There are also sports cameras for panoramic and underwater photography. You are a dedicated photographer. Happy family!
The other rooms in the hotel are really good. Maybe your room was pretty bad because of the paint. The green colour on the taps in the bathroom have a reason. The sulphur used for the treatment reacts with the water. Thus a bad smell and green colour is seen. The tap water is not drinkable.
Thank you for passing by… 🙏 I am not sure about the other rooms; but I know that the next room to us had a leak on the roof and the AC was not working. When someone is paying 22K a night; things shouldn’t be like that. At least that is what I would expect in an island that is well connected with boat and helicopter! I liked the natural beauty of the place and honestly I don’t mind those things. I could have spend my time in a tent; no issues. I do that several days in Alps every year. But I thought this is important to be honest in the video so that other people going there knows what they will get for the money they are spending. And for sulphur; fair enough; I was not complaining about the smell of the water and didn’t want to drink it either. But even with that it takes years for a tap be become like that. Again; with such amount of money I would expect maintenance. Sure; if it was 2.2K a day; one would expect that. But it doesn’t seem fair after paying 22K! Completely our point of view. Anyone can differ to that!
We were lucky enough to visit 17 years ago and did all the things you did! We loved every moment but have to agree with you about the rooms. Very dissapointing! The whole resort could do with a makeover, it probably has since we were there. A special mention must go to the wonderful staff and the lovely food. Thank you for reminding us of a truly special visit. M
Thank you… 🙏 Indeed that is the philosophy of my vlogs. Unlike most of the regular bloggers who just keep on talking with an action camera on their face; myself coming from a serious photography background; my idea is more to emphasize on the beauty of the location and only talk about useful information. Glad that you liked it…
Hi, just wanted to ask two thing through which travel agency you booked your package and the beach swing you showed in the video was yours or they provided. Morever, this video is fantastic
Thank you for passing by… 🙏 A detailed video of everything is coming soon where I will add the travel agents and some more important information. The swing was there in the island. In fact several of them.
Thank you for passing by… 🙏 I really hope so. And they shouldn’t drop the control rather open more islands for tourists. The ecology of this place can’t take mass tourism. It is a super exotic place and should be kept like that. Else it will get destroyed and the sole reason of its beauty will be gone.
I would absolutely agree to that and that is what I said in my Lakshadweep guide as well. The process is cumbersome and requires advanced planning and some discussion with the agent. Naturally I found Lakshadweep (specifically Bangaram) is way less spoiled than Maldives. I did visit Maldives twice (two weeks each in 6 different resorts) and it is my take after that!
Thank you for passing by… 🙏 If you book with an agent; they will take care of the permit. It is better to go with a travel agent as almost nothing is available online and the ferry as well as the resort need to be booked. Please check my Lakshadweep guide. There I have explained everything in details and in the description I have given the number of the agent we used. ruclips.net/video/qn6VLJDykhc/видео.htmlsi=0yz2wclcpWWDfCp4
Thank you for passing by… 🙏 Indeed Lakshadweep is amazing. But as many other places in India; shear mismanagement had made it a bit disappointing from price vs comfort ratio. There are some new ones on the other side of the Island, but they were not yet open. Not sure when they would open! But the existing ones are not maintained well as I explained. I also talked to the local management and they said that after repeated notices for fund allocation to make repairs; there is no fund allocated by the government.
@@nikhilchandra3868 Yep; that is correct. With that amount of money; one could stay in a palace. So that definitely is a major flaw! But with such beautiful place; I am happy to spend time even if I need to sleep outside! 😀 Anyway if you follow my channel you would know that I don’t mind sleeping outside as it is very normal for me in summer to spend several nights in my tent or bivi; but there I don’t pay anything. If a place is charging so much; I would expect everything in order. But it was not!
Thank you for passing by… 🙏 Yea I did. The drone had to be checkin into the checkin luggage. Not a rule in the whole world. When the security told me; my baggage was already checked in. So I had to put the open drone on a little bag and had massive chance of breaking. But luckily it came out in one piece. But while coming back I packed it in the the checkin luggage properly and no problems. So as long as you pack it well for checkin; all good.
Given how close to the subcontinental mainland these isles are, I sincerely hope that none of India`s fabulously venomous or otherwise dangerous snakes have made their way to Laksha-dweeb. 😕
Thank you for passing by… 🙏 If you are not an Indian citizen; you need to contact an agent and that agent will make all the required permit for you to get there and only few islands are accessible to foreigners. And yes you do need an extra permit to get there. You will not be able to just get there even if you have a VISA. It is similar for Indians and foreigners. Everyone need a pre-approval to get to Lakshadweep.
Thank you for passing by… 🙏 Foreigner can reach Lakshadweep. But only few islands and not all. Bangaram; which is by far the most beautiful can be accessed by foreigners. But you need to book with a SPORT affiliated travel agent. You need permits to get there and the agent can arrange it along with accomodation.
Thank you for passing by… 🙏 As we don’t drink alcohol; I can’t tell for sure; but if I remember correctly; I did see people buying and drinking alcohol at the time of lunch and dinner. I can’t tell about rest of the time as we were not close to the restaurant where they probably sell alcohol.
Fair enough. At least you didn’t have to spend the money and find it out yourselves as a disappointment! 😊 The facility is not really great. But the landscape is. I can live with that as for me the natural beauty of a place is way more important than the room. Typical for most photographers! You need to decide for yourselves!
@@user-wh3wd2ph3z It is all fine. But the quality of the price paid should be there. I have been to Maldives twice. The quality of resort with the same price there is many times better. This is a government run facility and the hotel staff said that even after several requests for releasing fund for the repairing; there were no money given for it. But there are some special rooms kept dedicatedly for government officials. Those rooms are well maintained. Also the government visits get a helicopter ride to the island. Big double standard for the monopoly I would say! In short, it is not cost of living; it is more cost vs quality parity made me unsatisfied with this island. The nature is amazing. But the facility unfortunately is not even 5% of what they are charging!

Restrictions and Economy don’t go hand in hand. Why even develop then? Let it remain pristine for the people of Lakshadweep.
@@user-p7thq3ch8sThat is not universally true. After visiting many countries I can tell that a balance is possible if the implementation is correct.

NICE

i want to visit lakshadweep but our Indian Travel facility dont provide easy access to it is the reason why we are going Maldives

Do i Need a Special permit to go there or the normal visa entry (as turist) is enough?

Hi do you have direct contact of the Bangaram Resort and not any travel agent?

No you always need to go by a government approved travel agent.
