    It really depends on your hair. For me, I have dry curly hair that I straighten a lot. For me, the elixir ultime is better as my hair feels more nourished and less weighted down.

    • @Blondeamy
      @Blondeamy  Год назад

      Absolutely - the beauty of hair care is that what may not work for one person is someone else’s holy grail! I can definitely see the elixir ultime being a better choice for curly hair due to the thicker nature - very jealous of your hair type!

      Totally agree. True test should be used on curly coarse hair that frizzes easily. And hands down kerastase is a true winner. Olaplex does not smooth the hair cuticle like kerastase does, a superior product.

    • @Blondeamy

      I agree, I think watching reviews of different hair types gives a representation of hair products across the board 🥰 my hair type isn’t that and for those that have similar hair types to me then my reviews will be relevant for them, there’s plenty of amazing creators with curly hair that showcase products for that hair type that I’d definitely recommend ☺️

      It’s a hard plastic for sure, dropped it would probably shatter the same as glass though! Although the packaging doesn’t matter as much, it’s all about the liquid gold inside 🙌🏻

    • @Blondeamy

      I prefer after as the oil helps to detangling and makes my hair less prone to breakage when brushing, I just use a tiny amount after to calm frizz ☺️

    • @Blondeamy

      For bleached hair that is balayaged, I’d recommend the No 8 and No 7 - these two will be a hydration duo preventing your hair from drying out and splitting which it’s more prone to after being bleached. The no 3 would also be beneficial to you too but if day the no 8 and no 7 would be the best place to start!

      @@zaynabb2914 It's probably because the Olaplex one is sulfate free. Sulfate free shampoos thin my hair out and make my scalp flake too. They just don't cleanse well. Almost all of Kerastase shampoos have sulfates but they are well formulated.

      I would suggest trying NIOXIN shampoo and conditioner. Choose according to your hair type. I've been using the System 1 for light thinning, for about 3 years now, and I've been really happy with it. I noticed a big difference when I started using it. There was a lot less hair in the drain after my shower! They have a serum you can also use, but I only use the shampoo and cond. I've tried many shampoos and conditioners over the years, and I can honestly say it's as good or better than any high end product I've tried. It leaves my hair soft and shiny. Try the smaller size bottles and see what you think. If you're happy with it, you can buy them in a more economical 1 litre size!

    You should Olaplex sit for a bit before you use heat on the oily hair. My hair got fried after I used heat directly after the oil. If I wait 5 minutes I don‘t have issues.
