  • Rand Paul has endorsed Mark Neumann for WI Senate 2012. In September 1995, Neumann efforts on an amendment requiring congressional approval of troop deployment to Bosnia were thwarted by establishment Republicans and Democrats. Then, on September 29, he voted to defeat the $243 billion pork packed military appropriation. As punishment for his vote, Bob Livingston removed him from the committee. His vote of conscience invigorated other freshmen congressmen to fight along side him and eventually culminated in a balanced budget in 1999.
In 97 Neumann refused to affirm Newt Gingrich as Speaker of the House with his vote.
Neumann's 2012 Senate bid is endorsed by Rand Paul and Jim DeMint.
This clip is a short part of a talk he made to Milwaukee Republican Party -South Branch members in January, 2012. In it he cites 82 line item federal reductions on his hit list if he is elected Senator - a total of $2 Trillion dollars in cuts. These are the kind of congressmen Ron Paul needs at his side as President of the United States.
Neumann is campaigning against Bush era big government bloater Tommy Thompson, who supports Obamacare, and Democrat Tammy Baldwin - who represents the principles as well as systematic FAIL that was a trademark with outgoing senator Herb Kohl.
