- In this episode we cut braided AN hoses with cable cutters and angle grinder. We then put the fittings on the ends. Plus a $50 cash giveaway to one of my subscribers.

should have taped it over before you cut it.. been making lines for 14 years. as a classic italian car tech
If you put a fat zip tie right where you need to cut the grinder works great leaves a nice clean cut

You're using the wrong hose end and hose for the high pressure line. PS hose ends are steel and PS hose is stronger. Your high pressure hose is eventually going to shoot out of the hose end when you're at full lock. You scratched up the hose end because you bottomed it out. There's suppose to be a gap there, up to 1/16". You can just run your thumb's fingernail between the fitting to check the gap. Basically, when you're close, just align the hex flats.
True that, I have seen a few people do it this way so it is news to me. Thanks for the advise. I will for sure take it easy until I get something stronger. Possibly this? I would recommend ptfe hose because of the pressure from the electric pump bro the pump puts off alot of pressure

Use a little oil on your threads & on the nipple before the threads! It slides in better & wont push the hose out! ✌🏻🏁

@@dripndrift No probably, next time you put a fitting on a hose you’ll be like, son of a bitch, that was much easier, lol, just a little trick of the trade. If you’re doing a bunch just put a little oil in a cap & just run a little around the nose & threads…💪🏻💯✌🏻
