HOW TO MAKE A CARBON FIBRE LONGBOARD DECK | Wonderstruck Longboards

- Hey guys, in this video I show you how to build a carbon fibre longboard deck. Simply take some plywood (preferably birch plywood for it is more elastic), 2 square meters of carbon fibre and about 500g of epoxyd resine (if you're Swiss, you can find it here: www.swiss-comp...) and put everything together as if you would do a sandwich. I suggest to ask for some help for the glueing part since the epoxy hardens pretty fast. Of course, you need something to cut out the board and to sand the edges down. That's about it. It's the ceiling of my anti-nuclear basement haha, so that's fine!^^ Sure, don't try this in cardboard houses.
As long as you have a basement and press it using a load bearing high strength beam or support you should be fine. DON'T TRY THIS ON DRYWAY CEILING

je prévois de monter une longboard je fais du modélisme donc j'ai toutes les connaissances nécessaires en stratification carbon fibre etc... j'aimerais savoir si tu pourrais mettre les plans de ta longboard car je la trouve vraiment belle

Yep je vais mettre ça dans la description de la video dès que possible (suis un peu chargé en ce moment) :). C'est des plan pour plusieurs feuilles A4, il te suffira de les coller ensemble. J'ai 3 templates qui tiennent la route, je les mets tous (si je les retrouves), tu pourras choisir :). Du modélisme? C'est cool! Donc tu as de l'expérience dans tout ce qui est moulage et fabrication de moule?

Et oui c'est clair que le modélisme ça aide au niveau moulage stratification carbon fibre et du coup j'ai déjà tout le matos!
Mais par contre je sais comment faire un moule en résine mais je n'en ai encore jamais fait (j'ai 15ans) cependant je me débrouille en moulage carbone /fibre

I know I'm late to the game but I really hope no one follows this video. By placing the CF on the inside layer you'll lose 9 times (or 81 I cant remember the formula) the strength and nine times the stiffness. Source I had a carbon fiber board company when I was younger (check out Fishboards) and now Im studying mechanical engineering
